Sourdough bread, lots of salads with whatever I have at the time (apple, cucumber, onion, tomatoes, green beans, peas, ...). Fruits, nuts, grains...
Daily meat, mostly beef or pork with a salad or greens. And potatoes I turn into vareous things like wedges etc and freeze them.

Because unless immediately consumed the bread starts getting stale from the cuts. If you only cut the pieces you need the crust protects the insides of the bread. And you'll at most have only one face of the first cut that's stale. If you keep regularly eating the bread even that open bit doesn't have time to go stale but if you were to cut the entire bread at once the first slices are good but the last slices will be all stale by the time you get to eating them.
