Didn't deserve to lose at all. Pure luck decided the game. An inch to the left and that bounces out and an inch to the right raya gets a hand to it. Landed perfectly on the post to rebound in. Madueke had some great chances but didn't take them and you'd think had saka played he'd bury those 1v1s. Anyway, timber is injured again.

Yeah, i thought Arsenal played really cowardly today.
I was constantly cringe at some of the moments in the match, the back/side passes, the pointless holding, etc..
I kept saying to myself that it is the hardest game of the EPL and getting 1 point here is good, that playing for a draw is not a bad thing... but there were some instances that you couldn't justify even when you're playing defensive, even if you're playing for a draw...Like the ball comes to you after corner kick gets deflected, you have all that space in front of you, you can pass the ball to all those players who are still in the box, or you can shoot....but instead pass the ball back to fucking Raya form the near the opposition's box

after the first two second place finishes something inside Arteta’s brain just snapped, the delusional bunch who back him at every level justified it with >muh no striker and injuries. Now >we seemingly have all the tools and yes even with injuries the squad is good enough to at least put up a decent fight against any opposition. But as I said something went deeply wrong inside Arteta’s brain because he has taken out all fluid attacking play in favor for risk averse ‘controlled’ football. Like an even worse autistic Pep who never changes anything. He is somehow the only one who is so in awe of Liverpool that all he can imagine at Anfield is a hard fought draw when in reality their new signings aren’t clicking and their defense is fragile. Every sane coach who saw their first two games would have a go at them but not Arteta.

He's been playing bad for quite a long time and it has become obvious that you cannot win the league when your left wing is non existent every single game.
Odegaard was terrible last season after the injury and got attacked by everyone to an extreme extend. Why aren't people literally jumping on martinelli when hes such a liability for years ?
The dude looks at his feet when running. I am a terrible football player but the first rule I was ever taught is not look at my feet when running. How do >we accept this level when trying to win the league ?

Aside from that signs are good and its only early, mosquera seems solid, califiori is LANS and hopefully doesn't get injured, noni isn't as bad as initially thought, sczolinbfsst can't play like that every game at full back for Liverpool and them going all in on wirtz and ekiteke while signing only a few other players could be their undoing

Top Gooners are fatherless victims of bullying and/or molestation who struggle to come to terms with their bisexuality.
Their love of Arteta stems from their bisexuality, but also of their lack of a father figure. The pain of losing Arsene Wenger mirrored the pain they felt when their fathers disappeared from their lives. Unai Emery represents the many strange men who reeked of rum, musk and Calvin Klein Eternity that their mothers brought into their house and her bedroom every night. The arrival of Mikel Arteta and the signalling of a new era and project at Arsenal could be compared to their step-father who married their mother, many years her junior, after she cleaned up. Clinging to him and idolising him just like he used to idolise his father, never wanting him to leave and break his heart all over again, no matter what.
The players that they endlessly defend also stem from their repressed sexuality; it's why they're so loyal to Odegaard, Calafiori, White and Havertz despite their obvious flaws. Lee Gunner might be a lonely deranged unloved midwit, but he was absolutely correct when he surmised that Top Gooners are simply sexually attracted to the manager and his players instead of judging them objectively on their footballing capabilities.
Their love of Arteta's defensive mindset and Arsenal's newfound love of, and reliance on, set pieces stems entirely from their history of abuse. For years, Arsenal were perceived as a soft touch, got frequently rolled in big games and often got undone by set pieces, much like they were bullied by all their more socially and academically successful peers throughout their schooling years (United, Chelsea, City) and touched up by one of mummy's strange friends (Pulis). Now that Arsenal are the ones playing the defensive football to the frustration, boredom and chagrin of the neutral fans and scoring for fun from set pieces, no one can ever hurt them again.

Of course, Arteta's footballing philosophy is also laden with his own insecurity. His best friend from childhood was Xabi Alonso; the two grew up in San Sebastian, dreaming of playing for Real Sociedad together. At first it appeared that fortune favoured Arteta when he earned a contract to play and train at Barcelona's famous La Masia academy. He befriended Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, two future legends of the game who would establish themselves as the greatest midfield partnership of the 21st century for club and country. Arteta believed that he would join Alonso, Xavi and Iniesta, but what followed was a series of heartbreaks, setbacks and blunders. Good loan spell at PSG, rejected their contract offer to try and make it at Barcelona, failed and was sold to Rangers, moved to his hometown club of Real Sociedad hoping play alongside his best friend only for him to be sold to Liverpool that same summer, failed to establish himself as a starter for Real Sociedad, loaned out to Everton, rebuilt his career, got called up to the Spanish national team but tore his ACL and never got called up again, watched all his friends revolutionise football between 2008-2012 and win the World Cup while he peaked as an FA Cup winner and Everton legend.
Rejected by his own compatriots who played jogo bonito and won it all (mostly Barcelona and Spain), taken in by those who play defensive, ugly, dour, pragmatic football (Rangers, Moyes' Everton). Woefully insecure about his achievements not matching his own perceived talents. This is what drives Mikel Arteta and informs his mindset and footballing philosophy.
When you begin to analyse Mikel Arteta and the retarded freaks who worship him through a Jungian or Freudian psychosexual lens, it all makes perfect sense.

>hurr terrorism
>muh stoke
>sack arteta; let the players be free!
>le billion pound bottle jobs
>muh artetasexuals
And the other is
>we were actually the better team
>muh xG
>b-but our defense under Wenger!
>b-but the injuries
When in reality all that happened was we rolled up to anfield with a garbage lineup to play for the 0-0, the opposition was fine with that, both teams defended well and were shocking offensively, and one moment decided the game. Yes our gameplan was horrid and watching Arteta make panic subs to try and equalize in the last 10 minutes was embarrassing, but the reactions are overblown.
None of the shit we saw was anything new from where we left off last season (i undertsand that is part of the issue). The team is in transition tactically, and Arteta probably found it was best to play it safe rather than try new shit that has been seeing mixed results since preseason, which is understandable against the strongest team in the league away from home. He happened to get it wrong, but if it was Rice who scored his freekick and Szopongebob who skied his, these same flipflopping idiots would be calling it a masterclass and saying Liverpool are finished despite the same tactical issues being present.
I get that we had the quality to beat them, but the other possibility was playing like we did against united with awfully mistimed passes and getting ripped apart. It is what it is and if this becomes a habit again like last season by like matchday 15 despite having had the tools and time to do new things this season, then I understand the meltdowns, but its fucking game week 3.
Ive genuinely seen less seethe everytime we lost at home to west ham in the past few years. Not even Arteta in, but some of the hate bandwagoning from Arsenal and rival fans is embarrassing even if i fully blame the result on him.

Arsene would unlock this squad. It would be like him taking over after GG all over again, where the defense knows what to do anyway, and he can just let the attacking players express themselves.

Levy was the only one keeping that pitiful club floating for so long, he's repeatedly hired good managers, funded infrastructure, been competitive in transfer windows, and taken the brunt of their fanbases criticism which was more often than not completely undeserved. I foresee a catastrophic season for them even though Frank is a very capable manager.

Gyökeres wont score many goals if Arsenal keeps playing the same way, and neither will anyone else.
Goals are often scored when there is lots of movement, quick passes, counter attacks, chaotic penalty area situations.
I watched Arsenal this season (Gyökeres fan, not Arsenal fan) and its slow walk football with sideway passes against parked buses. There is no momentum, no quickness/speed, no perfect passes to the striker/strikers, actually there are no passes to Gyökeres at all. I have never seen a striker so starved of service.
As an outsider it kind of looked like Arsenal players just run down the edges of the field, completely ignoring Gyökeres or any other person near the box, and just fumble the ball off to a goal kick, or best case they get corners.
Gyökeres looked really lonely against some really big and quick Liverpool defenders. It looked as if Arsenal players are just taught to just always seek corners/free kicks/throw ins/pens, and I think Havertz is going to be better if thats the only way Arsenal are planning on scoring, since Havertz is better in the air.

that's where most of the prospects start or are loaned to, he was there after the usual shady schemes in corinthians' youth division (very familiar with kia and edu, despite being unrelated in this case)
"copinha", or the youth cup, is where players like martinelli appear (recent examples are also endrick, paquetá, casemiro, marquinhos) and he was talked about since even before by media here, a barcelona deal was cut off exclusively because of another corinthians scandal at the time
but yeah, you're right about arteta killing his football

It's absolutely un-based and might in fact encroach into cringe territory. Zubi and Merino both playing, performing well and contributing towards goals means Farteta will want to accommodate them both at the same time and we all know Price is undroppable already, with Odour in close second.
Having this much creativity at once will retroactively make the Pool game a fucking masterpiece in beauty and style (I am using the word creativity ironically here).

lads, my doggo is dying, had a benign tumor in his ear that we removed (did cost him his whole ear though) and now she has a fucking huge one on her liver that is inoperable and no one has a clue how long she’s got. Already made all the necessary arrangements and the only positive is that apparently tumors on livers aren’t hurting the dog and when the blood vessels eventually rupture (which kills the dog) it’s quickly and painless, akin to slitting your wrists.
