I said this I think like 2 seasons ago when the chiefs gutted their secondary and got rid of sneed and overpaid Jones. That was a stupid move and they only made it back to the SB on luck. Now that the Chorgers and Raiders are semi competent the Chiefs are going to struggle to be competitive in their division. Also Brett Veach is a terrible GM and its starting to show how the initial success in the Cheifs really was thanks to Reid being good at working with the trash he was given. Meanwhile Veach just keeps giving increasingly bad players to Reid and saying "Hey you did it before right" then obviously its clear that either Kelce doesn't want to retire or the Chiefs are keeping him there for marketing purposes. Chiefs should have done a full rebuild around Mahomes 2 seasons ago but kicked the can down the road and they are regretting it.

KOC has a pretty good track record when it comes to QBs and I don't blame JJ that Falcons defense was lightening fast and I wouldn't be surprised if they keep that up they can get into the playoffs on the defense alone. Vikes have a lot of injuries right now and KOC can say all he likes that injuries shouldn't matter but the fact of the matter is you have objectively better players. When you don't have those vets on the field to support a rookie QB then the system becomes less rigid. Overall I don't expect much this season out of the Vikes at best they make the playoffs at worst last in the division but the Vikes would have to seriously fuck up to finish behind the Bears.
