2005 Champs. 11-1 playoff run, swept the Red Sox, lost game 1 to the Angels and then our starters threw 4 straight complete games to win 4-1 and then we swept Roger Clemens, Andy Petite and Roy Oswalt in the World Series.

That ALCS will never be replicated again with only 1 reliever throwing in a 5 game series. Best starting pitching performance in modern baseball.

You can't change history my guy, but what you can do is admit that 4 starting pitchers throwing 44 1/3 out of 45 innings in a playoff series is absurd and won't be matched again with the way playoff games and series are managed now. That 2005 Sox team was a team of destiny. In the DS against the Red Sox the bases were loaded with no outs and Orlando Hernandez came in and got out of it with no runs scoring with a 4-3 lead. That team was so locked in the playoffs 11-1 or 11-2 no matter.

But when you trap the ball in the dirt it's not a clean catch why are you rolling the ball in the dugout instead of throwing down to first when the guy is running to first? And they were really good during Covid, just didn't quite get it done in the playoffs.
