They also had a blocked field goal. The Vikings might have let up off the gas toward the end and thought it was garbage time but the Lions still almost came back. It was the worst game the Lions have played in over two seasons due to a lot of mistakes and they only lost by 3 points. Personally I think teams should only have to play Thursday games after a bye week or they should be replaced entirely with more Monday night games. But Thursday is the only other day of the week other than Sunday or Saturday that makes sense for an NFL game, besides Monday. They can't do it on Friday because that's when highschool teams play and they can't do it on Saturday until the postseason because it's against the law to do Saturday games until the college season is over, and Tuesday and Wednesday don't make sense because who the fuck can go to the bar and get drunk eating chicken wings those days?
