I think "Start of Your Main Phase: If you have 4 or less memory" is a pretty neat gimmick, but it might be just a bit too easy to break. Tamer effects that also trigger at the start of your main phase can just be resolved after these effects for massive memory advantage.

I also think it's neat that both protags got Tamers in different colors. I think the non-chosen protag is going to be an NPC in this game so it tracks.

Im tempted to put in the the aces but I can see it backfiring poorly in the case where I draw omni ace and they obviously cant blast dna all over the opponent. Omni ace is such powerful tool that it cant be understated at how it forces your opponent to calm the fuck down the moment it board wipes.

I really don't think Kimeramon itself is that bad. There's enough in the meta that's relatively vulnerable to deletion that I think his On Play is fine, considering it's backed up by big-to-huge DP and keyword soup (especially with access to Raid). I think the biggest weaknesses in a Kimeramon DM deck are in the DM cards surrounding Kimeramon. Namely, both of the Tamers are a little awkward with him (Kimeramon doesn't have face-down evo cards for Analog Youth to give him Reboot until the start of your next Main Phase, and for Analogman you aren't likely to be playing out anything else with play cost 7+), you only have one Blue level 4 and one Black level 4 that isn't a shitmon with an effect you're unlikely to make use of, and despite the toolbox of effect I really wish it had a way to interact with Tamers.

Alter-S DM looks to be the best version of DM for sure.

Yeah, but King Drasil is BT13, nearly 2 years ago now. And without that faggot, Royal Cucks wouldn't be a deck. Same thing with Rush Gallantmon, and the Rush Guilmon used in Megid is EX4, a week and a half short of two years old as well, as is ShineGrey Ruin. The main Vemmon Galactic uses are BT11, which is already two years old, and a good chunk of Imperial is old as shit, too.

Like honestly, pretty much every big deck is using shit from two blocks ago outside of Hero and Adventure. In all honesty, I'd love it if Digimon would eventually start rotating, as the current decks seem to be focused on what they're trying to do. But at the same time, I also liked the idea of sideboards, and wish they'd add them back at this point of the game.

Lowest DP vs X DP or less is always a trade-off. The former can hit something big if it's all alone but the latter can hit something relatively threatening (like a level 5 that might represent an Ace) that's out alongside a random rookie.

But on the other hand, BT17 MetalGarurumon and this one offer completely different utility, and I think having access to Tamer stun might be better than just having two different forms of removal that still hit the same things.

Overall I'm just mostly interested how the deck ends up shaking out between pure Nokia, pure Tai&Matt, or mixed builds.

I know it'll probably be awful, but I want to try Rizegreymon in there. It can digivolve from BT17 Greymon, can cheat out both Nokia and Tai&Matt, and can digivolve into the Wargreymon or CS Trait Metalgarurumon.
The problem is there's no other level 4s other than Greymon so it'll be useless a good chunk of the time.

On a side note I feel kind of stupid now that the AA Ouryuken Ace's dropped down a dollar or two, but at the same time I saw a surge in buyouts happen.
Got that 4th KotaYuji since in testing on DCGO I just don't see it often enough to justify 2 Yujis.
Put in an order for 2 AA BT8 Ouryus a week and a half ago and a 4th AA BT8 Ryuda, just in case if I'm not happy with ratios irl when I eventually get a chance to attend locals frequently.

Honestly, as someone who has both a Omni Ace deck and a EX4 Alter-S deck, I'm confused about the ratios. I'm not really sure if I should buy a playset of both EX9 Alter-S and this new BT22 Omni or if 2 of each is enough for their own decks or again, if a playset is better so that I can mix Omni Ace with EX9 Alter-S AND update my EX4 Alter-S deck. (reminder that I'm one of those anons who doesn't like to switch cards between decks, so I have to buy as many copies as needed for each deck). But then, is this new Omni even worth putting in an Omni Ace deck? It would certainly be easier/cheaper for me to keep the decks thematic and not mix regular Omni with Alter-S... Fuck, I just don't know for sure what to do.

Im the same. I mained alter s in 2023 and omni ace from release till now so I need to buy like 8 copies because I have brain problems. Im not putting the new omni in ace or alter s because the old Ace is still VERY good for probably field wiping during their turn. The new one is also solid and has the benefit of being able to swing on evo incase you dont have the right tamer but the ace deck wants your opponent to not have the opportunity to recover once it hits the field because it is endgame right there so opponent turn shenanigans is important.
