I have a friend who's done this on several kits, even on kits where things naturally slot together without much effort he always leaves huge gaps, I remember he assembled a plastic kit with superglue and half of it wasn't even glued down properly. It also makes them an absolute misery to paint because they just look sloppy in a way a good paintjob can't save.

not gonna lie I do this quite frequently, but only if I'm sure it will actually fit. I think the best I ever did was cutting the sticky out bits of sprue off a character sprue and putting that in a normal envelope, you can't really complain when it makes it an absolute bargain for the buyer as well.

The idea of a CSM based on the Frenzy from elden ring keeps floating around my head, how could I do a convincing fingerprint effect on armor? I was thinking about maybe using putty to get my fingerprints, then using it as a sort of stamp. Do you guys think it would work?
Also I feel that dark metal armour and yellow cloth would look better than just straight up yellow armour.

What the fuck do the Dark Eldar need to refresh anyway? They'll probably get a reboxing of Wracks so they're 10 instead of 5, plastic Grotesques and probably plastic Urien Rakarth. The Kabalites, Wyches, Incubi, and all the vehicles are still great kits and I can't see them getting replaced. Flanderized AL is better than in lore AL. In lore AL is just generic chaos warband led by petty sorcerers who arent as good as the tsons ones. Flanderized lore is super spies who are really stealthy and good at disguise. GW needs to give us an AL lone up for CSM or maybe a kill team like they did for NL. A detachment would be really nice. Let you kill an infantry model on the map somewhere once per game and put an AL infiltrator on the board in its place to show they infiltrated before the game started.

You did absolutely no research didn't you? It's a resin, plastic glue will not work. It prints in layers curing with LED light like stacking pieces of paper cutouts to make something 3d. It is very brittle, score every flat surface you can because it doesn't glue together very well with super glue. If it feels less dense or rather has less mass than GW resin it's probably hollowed which has a host of issues. Check for drainage holes, if there are none, there is a chance it just randomly breaks due to gas build up.

Retooling my Inquisitorial Sisters army for Champions of Faith.
Palatine leads and gives lethal hits to a BSS bringing Multimelta and Melta gun. Canoness with the 12" deny deep strike hangs with flamers on the home objective. Junith Eruita and the Imagifier team up with a Multimelta and Flamer to contest a flank on foot. Canis Rex hangs behind buildings and looks to get a charge off as soon as possible and a free Tank Shock stratagem. The Corvus Blackstar exists to use it's 20" flying movement as a delivery tool for the DW veterans lead by the Watchmaster. They can be deployed very close to almost anything they want to shoot, get a free grenades stratagem along the way. Celestine leading the Zephyrim with power swords hang in deep strike, ready to Rapid Ingress and kill whatever the best T5 infantry they can find are and support whichever BSS gets overwhelmed on either flank.

Champions of Faith as a detachment means I can give all 3 of my BSSs the full benefits of the detachment. I have tons of CP because I have 3 captain rules (Canis Rex, Watch Master, Cannoness) and Junith producing me CP. Can all the free strats out weigh half my army being allies?

Some armies are just obnoxious to play against. It's annoying to spend an entire turn shooting into a Custodes list just to kill three models. Ditto for Necrons undoing all of your progress on thinning their ranks with a simple resurrection protocol or using an orb. Tau have also had their moments in past editions (suits made to be unkillable with guardian drone spam, fish of fury, JSJ, frankly oppressive shooting even in editions where they're toned down), but are generally a lot better in this regard now (the edition where battlesuit and drone spam aren't the objective best way to play the army - curious).

Yes primer is mandatory. You are being gaslit by some schizo who says it isn't. Primer isn't just paint. It seeps into and clings to the model and provides a base for your normal paint. When stripping models usually the primer stays on, that's how deep it seeps in.

I had a quite large collection of 3rd/4th era 40k from virtually every faction, and after doing nothing but collect dust for several years I sold, traded, and just gave away all of it before moving to another state. 10 years later I got back into 40k and of course I wish I hadn't dumped my collection, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

Despite how they've aged, every time I see the old stumpy Chaos Terminators I feel like they're still the hardest unit in the game. The experience of playing during the prime of 3rd & 4th edition against my friend who played Chaos, and really knew how to deploy his Terminators, has conditioned me to view them with nothing but respect.
