And a professional highly trained beastman commander will be represented like pic related.

With my portal powers, I can jump from place to place. My goal isn't exactly to eat things into extinction, so if powerful things can heal then it just means more to eat later. Evil Eye gives me essentially free spells to study just by observing. Stroxou's arm is essentially a mana amplifier + shield against magic when Im already near immune to physical damage. Misks blood is for healing the distributed damage from injuries.

I don't really need the items, but since I can't do much with items while in slime form, my guardians can help carry things. All digger will be nice to break down big magical things into smaller chunks for me to digest. And Incognito cloak is just good for survival.

The companions, well the rich furry wants experiments to change races and I want experiments to change races. win win. ??? is a nice ally I can teach from the bottom up. And Zhuldy wants to kill a big magical thing, and I want to kill and eat a big magical thing. Win win.

The first two serve as training for the Trial of the Magi. The Trial of the Monk gives me the mental fortitude necessary to focus and go on without food or water. The Trial of the Witches gives me a familiar which I can perhaps bring to the Trial of the Magi to help by conjuring food, cooperate in solving the puzzle, or... use more "creative" means to escape (e.g. I get a highly destructive or spatial manipulator familiar). I was thinking what could be a good way to have magical artifacts with fun effects but without making tech super overpowered.
I thought maybe it will need rare materials like gold purified into orichalcum but maybe that's not enough?
What if it requires chaos to work and the easiest way to do it is by murdering monsters and capturing their energy/soul into a gem then those gems are used to power the artifacts?
That way artifacts will have a way to offer more esoteric powers unavailable otherwise.
