All the pieces are just kind of falling together. I know Fynnfect isn't a new deck, but this setup of it with Delney, Hapatra and Center Soul is absolutely fresh. I've seen one other Fynnfect list with Delney and she was only 1-of. No chance is she a 1-of, the bitch is killer in this list. Soul is killer too. Double Rotpriest triggers via Rebound, lets cleanly swing through anything with Protection, and can protect your Deathtouchers on the block so they stay around after getting to kill something.

I mean if you dig through your deck it would be nice to have a win-con you could assemble on your own end step without needing as many specific pieces that could be milled out or lost somehow (hit both valley floodcaller and arcavios in the same confounding riddle = can't get both)
Siege could work if you already had it down, but that's an extra pieces. You can't cast it at instant speed without a floodcaller effect
If you had some kind of infinite recurring effect you could flash in, that would be easy. This Town Ain't Big Enough being banned makes that harder to find.

Just having a lethal board of marangs + counterspells in hand gets used by other omni decks. Maybe there's some other kind of flash threat I could establish on a board, bounce creatures with dispersal and have a counter or two in hand?

Discover and Cascade were inherently busted because they gave card advantage AND mana advantage by default, on top of being deterministic ways to cheat out cards after deck constraints, and required cards to basically do absolutely at their normal costs or else they vomited advantage. And bloodbraid was the king of that because just a 3/2 haste on top of another free 1-3 mana spell was way too powerful for its time.
Contrast Warp
Warp inherently gives no bonus. Cards with warp can be designed to give card advantage, but can be costed around it. You pay 4 mana for the eldrazi warp and all you do is get another 4 mana card from your hand and draw a card, you don't actually get any board presence from the eldrazi, all it did was replace itself in hand and put itself into exile to be cast later, except its a big uncastable piece of shit low impact 7 drop, so in reality you're not actually up a card, you're just spinning your wheels in place.

Warp with haste will be inherent value like dash was, and the black one looks like it could be broken

I was playing around with Sephiroth in Standard and it felt surprisingly powerful and not in a meme way. With Blood Witch that's 8 Blood Artist effects and having 2 in play is pretty insane, plus there is a lot of sac fodder creatures and recursion. I was winning games where I drained all of my opponent's life without every attacking. This will be good post rotation, the only thing it is missing is 1 more good sac outlet. You have the 2 mana BW creature from Ixalan but need another

Nah they are designing cards without constructed in mind. They actively know vehicles need a big and i mean biiiiig payoff to be playable or they must be cheated. We had Esika that autocrews himself and makes tokens, we had Consul that killed a creature when enters and when attacks, we had Smuggler with a cheap crew cost and hand fixer and we had Bankbuster that was a card engine and also auto crew himself, you can count if you want Parhelion but you need the rat to and we enter in the combo terrain but as playable vehicles need a really good advantage.

With Saddle already a mistake you made vehicles creatures and easier to kill and with this station shit they screw the whole thing: Sorcery speed and ridiculous costs even if the “Crew” counters remain. Is awful and obviously in no way made for constructed play and they know it too.

Trying to brew insect tribal with the leaks we've gotten is driving me insane. All the insect cards care about having as many creatures and lands in your graveyard as possible, but all the cards that specifically care about insects want delirium, and as of right now, there won't be any insects with addition card types worth running in post-rotation standard (rip Haywire Mite). I guess I could throw in some Overlords to make up for the lack of enchantment creatures, but that would just cut into my insect count, and at that point I'd probably be better off running a summoner/Overlords deck. I'll probably have to pad the deck with Adaptive Automaton regardless, but that will also lower the insect count and the only way to keep it up is with tokens, which demands I run pick related and the white Overlord. EoE better give some better cheap insects than what we've currently got. My only other hope is that maybe Blex makes a return in Strixhaven which'll give me a reason to run everything plus Enduring Tenacity (he's a pest and those have cared about lifegain in the first Strixhaven set).

Appreciated. Not sure about your concerns. BL is still very busy making cards that seem to pass from what I see and read. In the 2010s when I played paper Modern, BL was one of the go-to sellers and seems to still be going strong from my recent research, but I don't have hand-on experience for a proper recommendation. Despite that, I'm sure BL has good Explorations and passable Mox Diamonds. Not sure about foils though. Personally, I'll be non foil only to help keep under the radar. Will also get retro frame fetches from MH2 & 3 to also help with not being obvious. Onslaught art for the first five fetches are all mid anyways; There, I said it, fight me.
