This is what I came up with so far. I love Spike Weaver to death, but it's pretty slow and basically 5 mana for a fog. I'll pick up a Spore Frog instead and try that out. Still comes back with Reveillark, but unlike Spike comes back with Sun Titan. Should still be good as a cheap reusable fog. I added more ramp like a Farhaven Elf and Lotus Cobra. I removed Curse of the Cabal because it's just too expensive and won't always do what I need. All is Dust is strictly better and cheaper. I also removed Akroma's Vengeance because it's the same cost and doesn't hit planeswalkers. I think I still have a good amount of targeted and mass removal, which is why I like this deck so much. It has many ways to get around hex-proof and indestructible.

I've made numerous decks with her at the helm and often the fun part is how you can essentially play your entire deck and never once play her because people will keep their hands entirely full of removal just to try to get rid of her while ignoring your encroaching board state. The text "artifacts you control have indestructible" is a nice shiny piece of text that seems nice and all, but chances are you only need it once, and it is far better to surprise your opponent with some instant speed protect all your shit card anyways. YGO has left an eternal impact on public consciousness thanks to its anime.
Magic as a game was stuck in a state of only really being known among those in specific circles for 30 years, with atrocious optics outside those circles, where it was known only for being horribly expensive and overrun with manchildren. It was seen similar to how people talk about League of Legends, except with large monetary barrier to entry and drastically lower popularity.
Now the game is only kept alive by UB desperately trying to attach the game to other IPs that didn't shit the bed (as hard). This is not the position Magic should have found itself in, culturally or financially, after its cult classic start. If WotC was a company that learned it would have reached Fortnite levels of industry dominance by now. Instead it's in a position where half the sets add bonus sheets and untapped duals because they wouldn't sell otherwise (even though obviously pushed cards come out literally every set on top of those).

Cut all the stupid do-nothing cards that require specific setups to work, and are only there because they're loosely related to your theme and they do something stupid like turn a massively winning position into an even better position.
Cut the ramp package in half.
Add more card draw drug (it's yummy and delicious you can't overdose on this).
Aim for 10-20 points of interaction (more protection if your deck plays fast, more removal if it plays slow).

Almost never. I started with the game because my friends always gift me their chaff. I print my own proxies and sleeve them over. The only time I buy boosters is when my friends gift me one and I repay them later with one. Sometimes I buy cheap singles for my budget decks. One of them is almost 70% original now.
