Never heard of it and checked the website: this is a case of misleading advertising. You can't know whether it's a Cthulhu Mythos supplement for 5e, or a dungeon crawling supplement for Call of Cthulhu, similar to Cthulhu by Gaslight but with fantasy classes and setting.

I guess they are vague on purpose so they can sell it to both 5e and CoC groups, which means somebody is gonna buy it and get tricked.

Oh don't get me wrong, on the player side it can get a little jarring, especially what with basically needing to spend your Life Points™ in desperate situations when you need them, but as a GM? All enemies, hazards, obstacles etc. are the same stat line and require a single roll, e.g. a Level 3 monster and a Level 3 environmental hazard generally require the same rolls to overcome.

Also, and this might be a personal thing, it's genuinely fun to watch players use some cypher (basically one-use narrative items) you tossed out on a whim to beat challenges in a creative way, like how one of my players used an instant door cypher as a portable hole to drop the guy pursuing the party into a river. It does require some creativity on the GM's part to come up with cyphers that aren't healing potions bit with a Twist™ or '+X damage on one hit', but the fact that loot can be weird/useful/weirdly useful is also part of the fun.
