Easily one of my favorites. It manages to convey so much about the tone and setting with so little and has a novel but neat premise.It really draws me in. I wish I could play a vidya with a starting premise like this.

I had a hard time narrowing down who to take and who got what items. Originally it was going to be Morgan over Henrietta in order to teach me how to better use my magic. But that would leave us without a fighter. While Henrietta isn't a straight up fighter like Peter I feel her background and education would help me learn more about this world and be most helpful once we escaped the dungeon. With her items she should hopefully grow in to a decent combatant in her own right too. Madeline is just too useful not to take. If I could take three characters but limit ourselves to one item each I would.

The plan of course will be to get out of the dungeon while learning as much about it as possible and returning to the surface with my new friends.

Magic is an unknown and extremely risky variable, magic items could require care beyond what We've seen, could have drawbacks and dungeons in general are a topic with thousands of variations
Do the walls shift? do monsters respawn and can they do it when you are nearby? do monsters fight eachother or need food?
Having someone with an academic understanding of dungeons is crucial
I will say the herb girl probably knows some basic things, but probably not enough to navigate a live one
The guard is a better actual warrior with the strength belt.
There is more to strength then the physical output of your muscles. your posture and reactions will determine almost all of what you can actually do
A rapier is by far the lightest class of sword. it is completely and utterly useless in a real fight, being optimized to draw blood exactly once to instantly win duels. Having skill with a rapier is almost entirely pointless and occasionally detrimental in real combat
Most people of that type would drop a sword upon the force of it stinging their hand, especially if they had the strength of 3 lions
The nobles knowledge of the outside world is useful but replaceable. there are thousands of people outside, but only 2 in here

Chosen is definitely way overcosted but it's not a useless perk if you use it intelligently. Remember, an overlord template on (you) is basically applying that full template to a peon. If you take half the overlord template and apply it to an elite unit (especially if combined with honor guard) you likely end up with a minion at minimum around 75% of your 'strength', and while they don't get overlord specific stuff they can still learn and grow in power. The hardest part is choosing a chosen that fits you, although something like a Praetorian tyrant weaponmaster, wraith shadow spymaster/reaper, magus sorcerer destructionist, strategos conqueror tactician, or siegebreaker titan destroyer can be useful for almost anyone.

Three trait points is massively overcosted for one dude though, should be a one point trait.

Honor guard is a bunch of dudes with medium buffs and it's worth one point. I remember when I made my build I made 3 versions of it: first starting out as a young necormancer in the free cities, then mastering my craft in the countriside (while dodging death squads sent by my enemies) and finally becoming a lich and being hated by nobles and commoners alike. I did that by gradually taking more drawbacks and powers. Perhaps quest section that would allow you to shift your relationship with commoners/nobles and/or pick powers along the way could work?

Anyway, it's ambiguous. I think the player is indeed meant to be always a good step above any of his minions in terms of personal power, but the concrete and mechanical meaning of that is difficult to implement as the player can spawn greater and greater armies, without also suggesting that an unassisted player can count on his ability to stomp an army.

I think part of the idea is that your own personal power grows significantly as you get accustomed to it - and that this may well spill over to your Chosen as well.

I don't usually go for super strength or anything that increases my intelligence. I find super strength boring and prefer other powers. I avoid enhanced intelligence because altering your intelligence alters your personality which is a soft from of identity death. From looking at the League of Tok picture I have found that my preferred powers are the following:

Actually if we count the male Toks in the Tok Council and include Dr. Tox there are 25 males out of 63 members, which makes the female Toks 38. So I "troon out" in 60.37% of my builds which is just a little over half of my builds. But take notice that this quick calculation did not account for shapeshifting Toks which could shift to either gender. Most of my shapeshifting builds do have a female picture to represent it.

Taking Automaton as my race. Not sure if I'm more homunculus or golem, but the general concept is somewhere between cyborg homunculus, and golem wrapped in flesh to make it look mostly human. The Summoner by Peil - should've reached Entropiss/Dark Overlord level of builds and discussions and got an update or two IMO.
1d20 superpower RYOA (or I think you could just play it with 10 points so it's technically a CYOA?), the very first one in the pdf without pictures. Really good power selection and balance, can make a lot of cool super heroes, the lore is there but not too invasive, I really like it.

You should ask for help in the WIP channel of the Discord. The guys are reactive, and if you already have the images + text it should be a simple question of layout and spacing.
For the rest, it's a bit trickier since you can't summon creativity, so perhaps you should check other CYOAs for their demon characters. I'm thinking of Athanas and the Twink demon from JRPG Traitor for example, the CYOA 'Demon Conquest', 'The Rebellion' by Sylen. Alternatively, you could take a glance at builds for 'evil' cyoas to see if it triggers your inspiration. Don't force yourself to push through the sludge. Worse case scenario you'll have a fresher perspective coming back on your previous strategy.
