To finally run a game that goes to Level 20.
Paladin. Human. Blonde haired, blue eyed. Noble, from a city that clings to its Greco-Roman styled history. She learned of the disappearances while training in the more distant city the barony is a suzerainty of. Righteous streak when she sees innocents harmed, has had her ideals tested somewhat already.
Monk. Human, fiery ginger. From a river-gypsy people, that had gone to the same city the Paladin had to attend the school there, where she found an interest in the occult. Has a water-"be like water" fighting style. Some of her own kin had gone missing. Hired the Rogue. The player is a decent note taker.
Rogue. Elven Genasi, mix of fire&water. Grew up poor in the same aforementioned city, and led a life of thievery. Got an assassin killed during an attempted heist, and has been shanghaied into the assassin guild and given a task of killing the butler of the baroness' house or else be killed himself. Taking the job from the Monk was a cover.
Barbarian. Serpentfolk, and his particular breed has legs. Self-exiled from his homeland, escaping the servitude of his people but feeling a conflicting shame at running from his peoples caste system. Fears his fate in the wheel of reincarnation that his people believe in. Heavily cloaked at all times and wears his wealth as bangles, necklaces and other jewelry. Found his way to this land from across the sea by smuggling and dealing with thieves and pirates.
Druid. Gnome, from a swampland forest near the city mentioned previously. Has an expectation of his name preceding itself, sometimes it does but not in a good way. A very nontraditional druid, and is more akin to steve irwin. Puts no faith in gods, mostly believing in nature itself.
Wizard. Half-elf. The oldest among the party, his power and station was diminished after a run-in with the cult that he has no recollection of. A wandering wizard, focusing more on practical spells and survival. Kind, very gandalfy.
