Currently, the Cacophany of Steel. A large and well organized IW splinter warband. They fucked off form Vigilus and have been carving a path through the Nihlus looking for somewhere to build their own little empire. They found it in /mysector/ which has mostly weathered the Great Rift intact. The Cacophany has taken advantage of rival cult uprisings to take some critical star systems and /mydudes/ are gearing up to take it back.

Thoughts on this nmm? I love how it turned out but Im open to any slight tips to make it even better. I dont mind if its not super perfect though, I dont wanna fuck it up too much more.

They're quite popular in the tabletop when the army is good, they're also widely collected. highlight the upwards facing edges with your brightest color, and then your downwards facing edges can be the 2nd lightest, then corners and angles should be the brightest.

use the edge of your brush and just run it alongside the outside edges at an angle with a light touch. If you get lines that are too big your brush is too loaded/you're using too much pressure.

friends got into it, one played Necrons and the other like Imperial Guard.
So I bought Tau and painted the robots up like mechs from the Titans in Gundam Zeta.
Gundam Mk-II paint scheme works on almost anything.

When I was 28 news that “warhammer lore moved ahead for the first time in 30 years” reached me through algorithms of YouTube. I started to watch how tabletop is played and began to play kill team. Today I have SoB and CSM armies.

For years I've been repeating the argument that GW has some of the highest quality models available, but recently a friend got into a modern warfare game called Spectre and I started looking into it as well and it made me realize how much better some alternative models are compared to GW. Their models look so much higher quality and better proportioned than GW humans, it actually blew my mind. It makes the new IG, which are supposed to be more realistically scaled compared to the old IG, look like goofy cartoons

Yeah it's essentially a clip you can adjust. Holds very nicely, you can move the light up and down when it's secure on the monitor. You can adjust it in such a way that it lights up your work area but you don't see the LED light bar with your eyes so it doesn't distract. The little round thing is a useless wireless pilot. No point to it but it's there, maybe if you want to attach it to your bed head rest and don't want to get up to switch the light off. 10/10 in my opinion. It was also pretty cheap.

I got 10 Hormagaunts as a secret santa gift and they were the first models I painted. Since then I've gotten some lictors and a carnifex for cheap that are close to the same color scheme. I gave them some small detail and touchups.
