Dimir is in a good spot if you know how to play it, but blacks removal it’s a mess currently so it’s much less consistent. Sorcery speed removal covers 80% of what you need and then eats shit in a spectacular way when you really need it against Aggro or vivi shit.

Landfall is actually trash. There’s some clever ramp jank but it loses hard against Aggro. Land shit is the same retarded thing green has always been. I win if you let me keep my shit on the board and lose hard otherwise. 1 U bounces ruin 99% of their plans. Just make sure you hold one up because a Tifa or Hydra can and will one round you if you let it swing.

My first starter set was 4th edition. My first boosters were portal and Ice Age. I miss the way things used to be. Urza and slivers and phyrexians and cool original MTG lore...now it's all lesbian teenagers and marvel tier writing for children. "The Brothers War" novel still sits on my shelf and it is fucking Shakespearean compared to this current slop.

I'm doing surprisingly well with this. The mana is the weak point but the cards themselves work really well together. Cards like Voice of Victory, Cosmograd Zenith, Enduring Curiosity, Mockingbird....This deck might be cooking once Hallowed Fountain is printed (they should have put all ten shocklands in EOE)

Im the anon who asked about it. Even without the last ability, every landfall trigger for say a Traveling Chocobo and Bristly Bill or Ride the Shupoof on the field gets a lot more value.
At least that was why I was considering it before I saw that nobody uses it.
Maybe its value is only there for say Sazh Chocobo, and because Tifa and Hydra scale so much it doesnt matters a few more +1/+1s in the end, and unlike Sazh Chocobo they cant be chump blocked.
Even the cost reduction seemed fine to me, but I guess that if you arent winning by turn 4~5 more spells wont matter as much.

At it's cost, it isn't doing much. You can play Sazh or Bill to double all counters, instead of just what is getting added currently, or you're playing Icetill to get more land drops, Racetrack or the EoE card that makes robots if you need to go wide because of heavy removal. Basically it's a win more card, that is coming out when the deck should be already winning by hitting someone in the face with Tifa or Hydra.
