The proof is in the art man, like, what? I literally told you where the most significant mistakes are, clear to see for everybody. The flag is misshapen and the design on it makes no sense for its shape. The cars are heading in entirely different directions which is not a mistake an artist with lots of experience would make. Hell, when you're first drawing prospective they make you draw tables and graphs specifically so you LEARN to follow the correct direction. The building on the right is smudged and the people on the streets are AS TALL AS THE STREETLAMPS.

How many mistakes is too many, for someone you consider "a good artist" that would never need to use AI?

Edit: and if you want a source, I went to art school. But you don't need a degree to see that this art is, at the very least, suspiciously poor quality.

How come mtg foils are so dogshit? How come when I look up the issue online no one can seem to pinpoint a cause? Every post is just a brush off of “foils degrade faster than normal cards” but none of my old foils curl like the current ones, if at all. The current ones come out of the package curled, even if its slight, and others I have curl so noticeably its evident through the card sleeve. How come discussion online about this issue is so muted?

That’s not the part I’m concerned about. Why does nobody care about this? It’s such a massive problem and everyone seems to just blame it on heat or humidity, or that it’s always been this way. I think that the flag is not AI, it's just deformed in photoshop or even a 3d program in a very weird way then photobashed. Maybe in a first draft it took to much real estate, and the artist decided, or the art director told him, to make it smaller. The background, mostly the vehicles, is just sloppy. With AI it would be far worse.

Early thirties dude here. If you're looking for a digital card game, Slay the Spire is miles above the rest. It's a deckbuilding game, which means you build the deck while playing. It's a very different game from MtG but it satisfies my cravings for card play.
