I think D&D 5e is a great system and it really starts to shine past lvl 16 where your build has come online!

That's it. I'm sick of all this "Masterwork Bastard Sword" bullshit that's going on in the d20 system right now. Katanas deserve much less than that. Much, much less than that.
I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 24 Yen (that's about half a nickel) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 minutes now. I can even snap my katana in half by striking a slab of styrofoam.

Japanese smiths spend years working on a single katana and fold it up to a million times and somehow still produce the shittiest blades known to mankind.

Katanas are one-third as sharp as European swords and one-third as hard for that matter too. Anything a longsword can cut through, a katana can be cut by. I'm pretty sure a katana could be broken on the hardened calluses of a fieldworking peasant with a simple vertical slash.

Ever wonder why medieval Europe never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too busy laughing at the disciplined Samurai and their destroyed katanas. Even in World War II, American soldiers targeted the men with the katanas first because shooting fish in a barrel is entertaning sometimes.

So what am I saying? Katanas are simply the worst sword that the world has ever seen, and thus, require worse stats in the d20 system. Here is the stat block I propose for Katanas:

(One-Handed Simple Weapon)
1d1 Damage
Incapable of Critical Hits
-5 to hit and damage
Counts as normal-quality if Masterworked

(Two-Handed Simple Weapon)
1d2 Damage
Incapable of Critical Hits
-2 to hit and damage
Counts as normal-quality if Masterworked

Now that seems a lot more representative of the cutting power of Katanas in real life, don't you think?

I used an action point and rolled a critical hit on my beguiling strands attack tonight and pushed all of the DM's iron circle brigands into a well totally negating the encounter he had planned.

I'm sick of the casual community having sway over the smaller, competitive scene. Its bullshit because some of my favorite games ARE during a tournament since everyone is so accommodating and interested in maintaining the spirit of the game.

Konami only releasing only TCG one set a year to focus on Rush Duels was a great strategy. Everyone has a full year to get the new cards and card shops love it because they don't have to worry about dud sets anymore.

My father is so proud of me. He's always been super active in my life and takes great interest in my studies and hobbies. I feel bad other people who's father's take every accomplishment of their children as a personal affront, insult, and challenge. I am happy I never had to deal with that. Could you imagine your father, on what should have been the best day of your life getting drunk, screaming in your face that you think you are better than him, and taking a swing at you. Well, it doesn't make for impressive adversaries.

I think we should make dragons something that's frightening and almost most dangerous creature you will ever fight.
Make them gigantic in size, capable of flight, breathing fire, heavily armored, smart and capable of casting spells, even sapient smart, with centuries of memories, like true talking boss character.

It would kinda look like pic, the dragon would be like holding the Princess as small as a puppet to him.
They would love capturing princesses, hoard plenty of gold and you'd rescue both from him.

I love traditional card and tabletop games!

I can honestly say that I have played a tabletop game within the last 5 years that lasted longer than 2 months.
