Almost certainly a (shitty) monk working in a copy-house. I'm a reasonably skilled illuminator and calligrapher, who can read and write Mercian and Latin while making my own inks and paints. I'm also crippled and nearly blind without glasses. I'd probably run into issues remembering which theologians have or haven't passed into common knowledge though. Might get spicy because I lean quite a bit more counter-Reformation than pre-Reformation..

So any modern person has a bunch of skills from modern education, whatever shit you half remember is pretty useful, and you have skill in basic mathematics which practically makes you a chartered accountant in that era. Assuming that my literacy and languages translate and I'm not just killed/starve in whatever village I land in as a rambling outsider hobo no one can understand. I could probably carve out a fairly comfortable existence as an advisor to whoever the local lord is. Aside from that I'm definitely taller and healthier than most medieval peasants so that's a nice boost too. Anything further would depend on the magic system, but I enjoy occultism in our non-magical world, I like to think I'd do okay as some kind of caster, probably a cleric of some kind, the existence of an obviously immediate god would be a great comfort.

I'm overweight, cowardly and don't know the first thing about fighting, but I do know how to do paperwork and accounting. Assuming I didn't simply end up working in a field or tavern somewhere, I'd probably become a clerk/scribe/accountant in a guild or join a local temple as an acoltye.

Not how that works. The medical establishment (if it even exists in this world) isn't going to notice you unless you write a book, very publicly denounce accepted practices, or really go against ethical norms (frequently exhuming bodies for dissection).

I stumbled upon the abatwa myth and was told it was based on the bushmen, looked them up and they seemed like feral desert elves and I thought that was cool. As for feasibility, depends on your criteria for feasible. I became good enough at hunting, tracking, and marksmenship that I managed to impress two girls out of my league enough to sleep with me. My survival skills (For the American south) are adequate enough that I could live off the land for a few years if I desired.

I was good at hunting, in America. I was taught how to hunt by low IQ but good hearted rednecks that thumbed their noses at the concept of bow hunting, let alone bow hunting with a bushman short bow. I live in the south so I'm used to heat, but not african desert heat. Never hunted a gemsbok, eland, elephants or any other animal the bushmen typically hunt. I learned they applied poison to their arrows by hand and have a small cut on your hand while doing something could be fatal. I also had to take into account what their perception of me would be. I'd basically be some rich lunatic that left paradise to live with them, and they'd probably expect me to pay for the privilege. Ultimately I'd be a somewhat competent child that eats like a grown man to them. So I decided to ditch the idea in my mid 20s.

I'm tall (6'2"), broad shouldered, but not particularly athletic and a bit overweight, above average intelligence but not particularly charismatic. I suffer no delusions about my ability to remember the chemical formulation for gunpowder and the proper pressure tolerances of steel to invent guns, nor to convince a bunch of peasants to try out my vague recollection of how to properly do crop rotation (it's not as simple as just "plant different crops each season", the idea is to make sure you're planting crops that use different nutrients and replenish what the last couple crops used up, but I have no idea which crops will do what). What I'm pretty sure I could do is get decently fit and fight as a mercenary, as my ancestors did a few hundred years ago, and as a side thing to endear myself to people with wealth and influence, I'm pretty good at mixing cocktails. Hard liquor is attested in the historical record for a really long time, hundreds or perhaps thousands of years ago depending on how you interpret the records, but it took until relatively recently for anyone to think to mix it with fruit juices, syrups, sugar, botanicals, etc., so that's something I could probably actually bring from the modern day into a medieval setting without having to bring a textbook along with me. In a few years, maybe I could have enough wealth and connections to be a pseudo-lord of sorts, assuming I don't die on a battlefield.

Teach the barbaric locals how to properly clean themselves, cook their food, use stuff like assembly lines or a printing press, do math, do biology, eat with chopsticks, etc. you know, basic isekai stuff.
More likely I would show up, lip off to some pompous dick about how nobility is a stupid political system, and then get imprisoned or executed

I would embrace the traditional life of a Sheep farmer like my Olde English ancestors (we traced parts of the family tree back 400 years and it's all fucking sheep farmers, fishermen and whores once you go past 100 years)
