but it's an understated fact that keeping a consistent palette (black&white being an easy one) helps in making artworks that are heterogeneous in style and quality feel part of the same atmosphere more than having the same artworks be different in palettes as well

furthermore, black and white artworks were usually traditional artworks, so generally done on a higher payroll and created over longer timeframes, and a result, of a higher quality

Literally anything aos is going to get some amount of hate just by the nature of its existence, but I think the switch to digital art in general has caused a lot of grumbling among the old guard. Same for 40k.

Grey seers and plague monks are good. Plague pack is one of the best units in the skaven roster. Plagueclaw is kinda shit iirc. Don't remember if the special verminlord is any good but in general they're not that amazing.
Individually your list is pretty good, don't know if they work well together though. Should be fine I think, looks nice and thematic.

shooting maybe, but I would be depressed if they didn't have good warmachine/artillery units. That said, ther tormentor bombard seems fun, 30' range and decent looking ranged attack. combine that with the spellcaster that can cut a units move speed in half and they'll be spending 5+ turns just to get in range of the thing.

This looks like a fine warscroll to me? I mean, it depends on points as always, but the scroll itself is perfectly fine. A 30" gun is pretty amazing in 4th, and it's not even a bad gun, that thing'll do some damage to cavalry or infantry. Turning off commands is also a neat ability, and it lasts for long enough that it's very useful. Hit an enemy spellcaster, and they can't do magical intervention, prevent countercharges and so on. A single one is not going to do much, but unless they're approaching 200 points (which I severely doubt, and anything under 150 is fine) they make for excellent DPP batteries and harrassment. They're also sturdy enough that most teleporting and skirmishing units are going to struggle bringing one down. Yes, it's not getting out of combat on its own, any kind of nearby support that lifts 5 tree-revs or whatever and it'll keep on trucking.

Getting the feeling the centaur spam will be the way people play. The construct profile looks good on it's face but the averages on it are pretty eh.

I'm glad we can have dwarves that aren't all flanderized tolkien dwarfs and so they can be actually unique, which they should be as evil dwarves. If it bothers you so much, you can just headcannon it as the ones without beards having magic stone aids on their chins keeping their hair from growing.

They are both reactions to the decapitator doing a fight ability, so you declare them both (in whatever order you choose, it doesn't matter in this case) before he rolls any dice. Then you fight with the decapitator as normal, then immediately after he's finished, you get to pick the order the two abilities go off in. 30.0 in the core rules.

the top of the hat is made of the same stuff as the rest of the hat, which is the same material/design as the shoulderpads/grieves/chestplate, the metal plate on the hat matches with the trim on those bits of armor. feels like they should be matched

You can paint the damn mini however you want, there's no rule that says materials change on a trim, you paint the trim differently because generally that looks good.

But painting the invasive front plate differently changes the hat for the worse, it no longer looks like a chaos dwarf hat, it looks like a dark elf hat, or nagash's.
