Don't be a retard. It's not a matter of possibility, its a matter of how hard it is to reach that possibility.

In the real world becoming some god emperor would take a insane amount of effort, talent, and luck. In HP, becoming a god is as hard as like... getting decent at a hobby.

The idea that early jumpchain was power limited is largely a delusion. Early Jumpchain was more limited to settings that the greater thread liked and they used power levels as a bludgeon against stuff they didn't, that is why popular franchises with high power levels got accepted.

Definitely, Jumper/Ventis doing it more for the journey itself then any monetary value. (And I need something to fill the century of time with.)
I like to think the steppe people are a gerudo offshoot. Because steppe gerudo just feels like a cool image in my mind. With the ancient bandit king being a brief incarnation of Ganondorf that really didn't get to far.

Fair I could see that a bit. Venti will probably have half a dozen mentors or so by the time he reaches the immortal realm at this rate. And probably just as many students of his own eventually.
Maybe its just commonly held wisdom in hyrule the truly wise can learn from anyone.

I was actually playing with a scene where venti kinda over resonates while harvesting air essence from a hurricane, but it didn't really go anywhere. Probably still happened though.

Hmm maybe. Something similar like that is in the default triune scriptures setting iirc.

I could see gerudo having some talent but some non-dedicated cultivator being able to match a immortal. Even a early one like Ritsuka feels a bit much though. Though I could totally see them having a lot of cultivators among their numbers. I could see Ritsuka having a lot of fun among the gerudo though.
Ideally the steppe gerudo are a little less hostile with men then regular zelda. Otherwise, there may be a few issues, but it'd probably be solvable.

Other idea after the treasure hunt in the steppe about fifty years in is joining a mining expedition on Death Mountain for a few years.
"Yeah, this place is immensely dangerous. So we only send Gorons or cultivators". And venti and rituska fit the latter.

What comes to mind for rounding out the set is the Sheikah are natural Divine Delusion cultivators, while Hylians have a modest affinity for all three paths. This means you’re more likely to find a strong cultivator of a single path among the Twili, Gerudo, or Sheikah, but it’s uncommon for them to cultivate other paths, and virtually all triple cultivators are Hylian.

>Ideally the steppe gerudo are a little less hostile with men then regular zelda.
I imagine the Gerudo in general are better about men. Maybe instead of men not being allowed in, any outsider has to prove their strength to be allowed into their lands.

I could see that. It'd explain a few things to. If Hylians are sort of more dispositioned to triple cultivate. Even if its still really rare for them.

>I imagine the Gerudo in general are better about men. Maybe instead of men not being allowed in, any outsider has to prove their strength to be allowed into their lands.
Yeah, that seems reasonable to me. Better than just having venti have to stay outside when they encounter one of their camps.

>Ritsuka proceeds to mine by punching the rock.
She'd be living her best life, punching rocks, fighting monstrous bugs, outdrinking gorons up near the peak on her off hours.

Other small details that come to mind the past while.
Venti learning astrology and how to read the stars from a gerudo shaman at some point. As a sort of hint/lead in to his eventual travels in space millennia from now. Potentially his hair going golden after all after a certain point but Im still unsure there.

Midna's eventual divine realm teacher being the fierce deity is another thought. Given some theories about in zelda the twili making majoras mask and the fierce deity's connection to it.

Two other things that come to mind. First, it would help develop your travels more, you both wish to see what the world has and are looking for insights into cultivation from the peoples who have each of the paths woven into their very nature. Second, it would be a way in which Midna tries to stand out. Most Twili only cultivate Soul Compass, but she pushed herself to learn Divine Delusion as well.

>Yeah, that seems reasonable to me. Better than just having venti have to stay outside when they encounter one of their camps.
Maybe the reason you have to prove your strength to be allowed into their lands isn’t because the Gerudo loath weakness or anything like that, but rather the lands they live in are harsh and rugged enough that if you can’t measure up, you might die.

>Venti learning astrology and how to read the stars from a gerudo shaman at some point.
>”Gaze upon the stars, young one. They reflect the world and what transpires under their gaze, and through their study you shall learn much. Yeah that... weaves together pretty well. Another bonus for traveling and learning as they are. And it gives characterization into midna as well. She's a genuine rarity among the twili. By her choices if not talent.

Checks out to me. Proving his strength would be a little funny for venti I think given he's not really much of a natural warrior. Though the same could be said for midna to.

Sounds like an excuse for more worldbuilding. If the Sheikah can all innately see the world of dreams and naturally learn magic, it would explain their talent for spy work.

Exactly! I was thinking a bit if i'm gonna worldbuild the sheikah. Given they sorta have japanese aesthetics in Botw. Maybe I'd lean into that for them instead of twili. (Think of some other culture to let em have if Hylians are western/china fusion, and Gerudo are steppe folk)

Sounds good. I was thinking maybe the spiritual stone of fire could be in there. One of the keys to the "sacred realm AKA pocket dimension" where the first triforce was kept after Hylia made it. Thats since had its triforce moved and importance beyond symbology kind of lost. This is honestly more fitting than you'd think for a culmination of their steppe journey and the gerudo history. The steppe/grass sea I think is a more relatively recent conquest of Hyrules. Still old enough to be considered part of Hyrule proper. But it wasn't part of the initial heartland when the kingdom was originally formed. And they were a bit unruly for a good long time. (Hell the bandit king/Ganondorf expy even united a good bunch of them to rebel briefly). Them allowing the relics to be brought back has some big symbolic meaning to.

Sounds good.

And with new instruments comes new forms of music to learn. You’re easily going to spend a few years in the steppes, and there’ll be the desert Gerudo lands to visit as well.

>Yeah, it fits. It'd make a good first visit to the capital to if they travel there to give the ruby after finding it.
And for a history lover who wants to learn more about the world, the Imperial museum would be a wondrous place. It also brings you to the capital of the Empire, which in turn leads to Hylia perceiving you for the first time.

Maybe humorously run into a tribe thats basically full of Zhon lis descendants given one of his wives is gerudo.

Jesus christ, how horrifying. In this timeline, the Tiktok psyop had succeeded beyond all expectations. Well, it looked like it was time to fight fire with fire, starting by using the Heavenly Dao to construct a superior large learning model.

“E-eh? Is that some kind of formation?” asked the bumpkin saintress that had been causally entangled with me before I’d expertly severed and reintegrated our existences as more of a Servant contract-type thing.

“No, it’s-well, actually you could think about it like that” I admitted, glaring at a screen showing America’s continuous implosion. A second shooter had apparently hit the right-wing influencer in this timeline. “It’s a calculation engine. Instead of wasting time scouting prayers or contemplating Dao laws, I’m going to use it to simulate devotion to myself as well as to spread memes about worshipping ‘the son of Heaven’ in exchange for small miracles to the already brainrotted population. It’s also running a subroutine for Dao comprehension”. I pointed at the cauldron being heated by all the thermal energy generated by the LLM. “In turn, I’m going to use the excess heat generated by it to refine the inevitable deluge of flames, herbs and other treasures I’m inevitably going to stumble into while here”

The Saintess suddenly heard an insistent knocking at the door. Opening it, a massive flood of herbs swamped her. “What a tragic timeline” I lamented, “I’m going to have to re-evolve whoever I can get into my sect back into the Jjaro and reset this twisted game AGAIN just to deal with what’s to come”

“…are those the cultivators of your world?” asked the Saintress. I turned to her. Opened my mouth. Shut it. “Actually? Yes. Yes absolutely, those are cultivators of the obscure technological Dao path” I admitted

Yeah, and this way hell most of the first interaction is stuff like visions. Things Venti isn't even sure are actually interactions. The fight with Vaati eventually. Would just push that interest further as well. Prompting the whole meeting once he actually enters the immortal realm. (Which I have more and more thoughts on a bit. Potentially. Though if he's donating the stones as he gets them. He probably wouldn't be able to slot them in himself. But maybe he could ask to borrow them briefly.

Hmm elden ring could be a interesting place for them to eventually visit. It'd be chaotic as hell and have consequences though but it'd be a big learning experience. Marika would sort of be the... anti-Hylia in venti's eyes.

>Or M.U.D.B.L.O.O.D. for short. Say what you will about Muggles, but they have thrived despite their lack of magic. Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that they thrived because of it.
>But that begs the question? Why not use both?
>Making Muggle devices work within magic-rich environments such as Hogwarts and the like will be child’s play for you. With just a little bit of practice, you could make it so that your own gadgets and machinery can run on magic. And you can even do the same in reverse, using technology so that your magical enchantments and potions can be made as if they were made in an automated factory. Maybe one day, you’ll eventually create your own magical nuke! Eventually. After a long, LONG time of research, experimentation… and explosions!
>As a final bonus, you now find yourself with a rather nifty talent when it comes to making up acronyms and other such abbreviations. Why not look up one Hermion Granger when you arrive? It seems like you’ll have a few things in common.
worth noting that in canon tech like that is even often improved in addition to just protect it from a maic enviroment. Like it says you can make technology straight up be animated by magic instead but you can also do things like with cars allow them to fly, become invisible, travel much faster and have expanded space in themselves or develop pictures taken with camera's in special potions so the images come alive.

Still chugging along. I'm trying to figure out how to write a fight against Godzilla Ultima, knowing about IT (the extradimensional force of cosmic destruction, only really comprehensible as an immeasurable amount of Archetype) being it's backer and also the cause for it's defeat as much as it's apocalyptic rampages in the first place. It doesn't help that this is in Super Robot Wars and the guy who is nominally the main villain just casually dropped that everyone on the battlefield at the time was a Singular Point with absolutely zero elaboration on that, or why Jet Jaguar is still the one who bested Ultima when everyone else just couldn't stop the big lizard-shaped walking apocalypse from regenerating. Some of the fucking Macross girls of all people did the most meaningful damage to it since their song at least made it stop moving for a while without needing the energy of a flashy over the top attack. It's kind of hard to explain if you haven't...experienced it yourself, but let's just say the Superman side of things is the really infuriating part. Imagine if one of those fanfic writers who likes making Naruto into a dark edgy teenage power fantasy took control of Superman. That is...kind of what Miller does to Superman. Not exactly, because the means by which it happens involves another character and because it seems like Miller came to his senses between books. But there is a definite sense of "the moral is it would be TOTALLY BADASS if Superman went full Injustice sometimes, I'm just saying" pervading the tail end of the series.

It really does and, if you can believe and you've never heard of the man, Frank Miller is supposed to be something of a legend in the funny pictures business.

Supposed to be.

I personally find everything written by him so aggressively performative about post-9/11 politics he makes most alpha male podcasters look reasonable by comparison. He's an inverse SJW in the worst possible way; he will twist the plot into a pretzel to simultaneously have Superman be the chivalrous knight in shining armour AND the dominating Chad who breaks jaws and fucks bitches, or have Batman act like an unhinged manchild "as a satire" despite also getting to fuck Black Canary in the rain. His take on Wonder Woman is the pinnacle of the meme treatment of Wonder Woman by DC.

Kind of depends on your own personal rules for the fiat stuff. By story rules, you'd swap everything, powers and all. Up to you if you decide that fiat trumps that in this instance. Only time the powers definitely swap is the Swap Stuck drawback.

I'm trying to do an item focused chain, where all I can take are upgrades to a single item. Specifically a Bracelet that I'm taking as my Bodymod

I'm stuck trying to find a jump that'd let me use a bracelet as an item storage.

In that case at least most things should swap, but that makes me want to set some contingencies for the event of a power swap. Not even just for this jump, but to ensure that any potential body swap partners can't waste things or burn gathered opportunities for nothing.

So small thing to start out the new travels but a big market like this is always interesting to visit, I think.

The bazaar buzzed with activity as a trio of travelers walked among its stalls. The furthest on the left pausing to, Run a finger over a bolt of blue silk, the sign by it saying it was interwoven with enchantments.
"This material feels rather nice. I don't suppose you have any goats left in your back pocket from your herding days?" The twili sorceress asks dryly.
"Danm just missed it I'm afraid I traded my last, last week for a pair of shoes." Venti jokes.
"A shame! What do I really keep you around for then if not for a steady supply of goats?" Midna chuckles playing along.
"Couldn't tell you. I'm still wondering that myself why you-Ow!" He's cut off from his self-deprecation by a quick smack by the third member of their groups staff.
"You're doing it again, Stop talking down on yourself." Ritsuka scolds lightly.

"Oh come on! I was only kidding!" Venti grumbles rubbing the back of his head where she hit.
"You joke to much about it for it to be funny." The redhead frowns.
"Yeah... I know, Alright." Venti sighs nodding. Looking out over the great market. Among the countless stalls and peoples. Each one seemed to be selling or buying something entirely different.
"They really do seem to have everything don't they? Feels like you could find anything here."

"Well of course. We're in the sapphire bazaar. It's the main trade node for everything heading west towards the rest of the empire. From the border to the great sea"
Midna grins, perking up a bit.
"Everyone that wants to not have to brave the grass sea has to pass through here. So..." She trails off for a moment looking to her companions before finishing.
"Everything that people want to sell passes through here. I read about it in a guide to Hyrule."
"Huh... is the grass sea really that bad that everything goes through here to avoid it?" Venti frowns asking.
"Thats what's been written at least." The twili confirms, looking at another stall they passed by. Admiring some jewelry. "Few mortal traders want to make the years long journey across such a vast and harsh land... oh and the monsters."

"Oh." Venti deadpans resisting the sudden urge to resummon their map and check it. As if that'd somehow change their destination deep within the steppe they were headed.
"Well I'm sure we can handle it. As long as we're careful." He shakes his head. Trying to drop the newfound concern.
"Besides it can't just all be monsters, right? It's not some blighted land of demons or anything. Otherwise, the sects would step in."

"Well, no of course not." Midna shakes her head. Putting down a small black statue she was observing. Dismissing it as inauthentic.
"It's just not good for traders when there are much easier routes south to take. Lots of tribes live up there. Gerudo mostly. But there are a couple others to."

"Right. We saw some of those coming in didn't we?" The bard nods. "Big folk with red hair look like humans and Hylians right?"

"Thats them yes. Their all across this region of the empire from the grass to the desert." The twili says affirmatively. "They tend to stick to themselves though, so we probably shouldn't have any problems. You know as long as we're respectful. We're probably seeing a lot of them the further we go into this region."
The discussions broken however by a shout further down the market way. "THESE PRICES ARE TO HIGH FOR ONE OF MY STANDING! YOU DARE JUNIOR!?" A voice screeches. Causing midna to grimace.
"Oh right, there is that other thing about the sapphire bazaar I remember reading in the guide. Being so close to the border It's a bit of a hotspot for outlanders with all the trade and auctions, Cultivators or otherwise."
The group looks across the street to see a man, dressed in red finery shouting and holding a jade vase in front of one of the merchants.
"We should get out of here before he thinks we're looking at him funny and starts a blood feud. I can already see guards coming."
Midna, the tallest of the three says. Looking over the crowd before directing them away.
"Come on I think the next street over has some stuff from back home and I want to see if its worth anything."

Nope. It gets brought up later in the story that even their souls have swapped. It's not so much they swapped souls so much as swapped 'consciousness'. So while in her body, Lin Fan actually has her soul, and vice versa.

Actually scratch that. On second thought, Dark Knight is decent. Elektra Assassin is genuinely a masterpiece. It's got everything and it's the single best appearance of SHIELD ever. Ken Wind, Perry, Garfield, Elektra, every character in it is a banger. Even the Beast and its cult, who are boring in every other appearance, end up great. And god does it look awesome.

That just means you need to create an array for flight. If there’s one thing the rest of the world gets right, it’s that cultivators must have style.

>It is! If we assume typical xianxia sizes I imagine its probably the size of a few russias overall.
Fun fact that I discovered when doing some research for a Machina writeup. The surface area of Pluto is only about 3% larger than that of Russia.

>And for a normal mortal thats a huge span to travel on foot.
Having played a lot of Oregon Trail 3, a journey of 1,800 miles across mostly flat terrain can take several months. If the terrain of the Grass Sea is rougher and there are plenty of monsters, that would certainly make crossing it unappealing to mortal traders. Maybe at some point you could join a trade caravan that’s going to pass through it as hired guards, I could see that kind of work being a common job among young cultivators who are setting out into the wider world and aren’t from a clan.

Thats not a bad idea for a scene to be honest. They got a lot of places to check on the map anyway and things to see. So being guards on the side could be interesting. Good proper combat experience to.

Maybe the lesson is that one can be both flashy and humble. As C. S. Lewis put it:
>If you meet a truly humble person, he will not be someone who is always telling you that he is nobody. Rather, he will be a fellow who seemed very interested in what you had to say to him.

Yeah, working as convoy guards means you’ll travel to new places, have plenty of people to talk to, and earn some money in the process.

>Another was meeting the isekaid champion who turns out to be a cultivator in the third stage and also a Khan.
That’ll be fun. Just the two of you reminiscing about a world you barely remember, and talking about what your early days in Hyrule were like. A side effect of suggesting that image for them, which by the filename you may have guessed I use for a jumper, is I’m imagining them as using said jumper’s weapon, namely a staff.

Hmm that is a interesting quote. I think there is a lesson there a bit. Though also its a bit of Venti being very aware he's a small fish in a very big ocean a lot of the time. Even now currently. Yeah! It gives a chance to interact with the traders of the convoy to. Maybe demonstrate a few of the ways venti actually has changed since he started cultivating. The bazaars probably a big nexus for that admittedly to.

Makes sense. Though the nice thing about being a young cultivator in Hyrule is that as long as you don’t try to puff yourself up or mistreat others, being noticed by more powerful cultivators is at worst neutral and at best could actually be a good thing.

>The bazaars probably a big nexus for that admittedly to.
Yeah, it’d be plausible for there to be a convoy leaving within a few months that you could join, and you probably wouldn’t even be the only person who’s only going as far as a major Gerudo city.

Names aren’t my strong point, but if they come from Earth I could see them using a name from Earth’s mythology. Minerva could be a good name. Also, the fact that the Gerudo are all female and genderbending being one of my fetishes has me imagining that they were originally a man.

True, Though thinking about it. It's got my gears turning. actually maybe the Hylia pretending to be a mortal thing. Isn't so much a good idea with that in mind. It just might make it worse admittedly. Though that meetings far from negative to... but going forward from then a saint kinda has to remain humble given the forces they represent. Not lose sight of the forest from the trees. Ultimately they are a servant of higher powers.

Eh, I’d argue that remaining dignified is just as important. The gods may be kind, but even so they, and their representatives, are to be treated with respect.

I could see the future Minerva being given a physical challenge that he must overcome to become a Gerudo. He fails, but the actual test was whether or not he would give his all, even when the task seems impossible, and in that he passed with flying colors.

If she’s become a Khan while still being in the third stage, that suggests she’s a triple cultivator. I would imagine she’s been in Hyrule a lot longer than you, and since she wasn’t originally a Gerudo her being a natural God Body cultivator wouldn’t be as much of a hindrance.

I admit this is entirely personal biase but I was initially thinking she wouldn't be a tri if only because I like the idea of that sorta being one of ventis main things. Oh definitely. My sorta philosophy with characters for this is everyone's a main character of their own story. As cliche as it sounds. Hyrules a land of so many people with interesting lives, Minerva very well could have a story all her own. I might make her a reoccurring character honestly. I was planning on doing so with Renalis after all. Have them reappear eventually.
Maybe I could have her be prominent in the steppe section of this.

As for Gerudo Hierachy in the steppe I imagine it'd go Chief>Powerful chief>Khan>Khagan Though they don't really use the Khagan title after all. The only holder of it was the ganondorf/Pseudo Ghengis Khan expy. He basically proclaimed himself as Emperor of all gerudo. Equivalent to Hylia/The empress.

Dark Knight Returns is now "out of character" as a consequence of forty years of people writing in reaction to it and attempting to construct a version of Superman who wouldn't be aligned with the office of the president and the military-industrial complex. He was literally like that at the time

>Minerva: You are not one by nature, that is true. What your nature makes you is a protector, and if you focus on that thought you will find it to be enough.

>I was thinking of something like a earring. Enchanted to serve as a communication device to talk with her and other notable characters remotely. The mirror I could easily see as well.
Sounds good.

>Of maybe Minerva eventually uniting the gerudo together for the first time in... well since Ganondorf. And getting the title eventually as one of her high points.
And whereas Ganondorf brought the Gerudo together by force, Minerva presumably would convince them to unite under her willingly.

>Dumb thought but im considering having Space era venti take some cues from Rosalina in mario galaxy for some things. Feels like it'd fit in some aesthetics and other ways
I could see that. And on that note, you’d want to have some Gerudo on your ship as well, so the space era could well be where Minerva gets promoted to main character.

>Spend a year or two with my tribe, and you could become a powerful warrior.
Honestly very feasible if she befriends the gang and is prominent. There gonna spend at least a decade in the steppe. Might as well spend some of it among friends.
..I'm imagining a scene where venti has to drink fermented milk because thats what steppe people drank for alcohol in medieval times and making a mental note to create a spell that switches off his sense of taste and smell.

>Minerva presumably would convince them to unite under her willingly.
Of course. She'd be the great unifier. Not through blind force and power but through diplomacy, wisdom, and showing she can be relied on when times are hard.

>I could see that
Yeah, I got to thinking with the idea of hylian metaphysics making a breathable atmosphere and setting up colonies. Something like super mario galaxies of small planetoids orbiting each other could definitely be possible for some colonies and aesthetics. And one of the earlier iterations of the ship sort of looking like the comet observatory feels like it'd be nice. Maybe keep the observatory as one of the orbiting sections and house the eventual Golden star in it.

>And on that note, you’d want to have some Gerudo on your ship as well, so the space era could well be where Minerva gets promoted to main character.

Yeah I admit I'm trying to workshop that idea a bit and struggling. The Air essence bit I mean. Not the demon. because the demon would just consume it all. And I don't think venti would hold onto it personally either if its a artifact producing it when I really think about it. He'd return it to whatever temple it was taken from or return it to nature so it doesn't unbalance the world or some such.

>>Minerva, thinking: I’d make a Skyrim joke, but he probably doesn’t remember that game well enough to get it.

Honestly I'm thinking of a lot of funny little mini scenes with him and Minerva. Maybe he gets a gerudo mount but it ends up having to be one of their ponies simply because the regular horses are way to big for hylians. Good place to actually get skilled with archery to.
He'll at least have a lot of good stories to tell back at the sect when he returns and is asked what he learned over the last century by zhon li and citali.

>Makes sense. As the first Golden Star, you’d want to study it.
That and admittedly sentimental value. It'd be a project he poured potentially millennia into. Even if others are also produced for colonies and other sections of the ship. The first I feel is a little special. Like the first triforce created. I imagine Hylia has that tucked away somewhere personal.

Some cultivator a proper legend from outside hyrule rises to power, looks at history from far enough back and at these guys and realizes what a threat they are overall and Unites a good chunk of the planet against them before they can grow anymore.

>On the flip side, while the essence is abundant, it’s also not that concentrated, so while it’s useful for the second stage, by the end of the third it’s not as impactful.
Hmm that'd work for me. Would be good reason not to stick overly long in the grass sea after for cultivation training to. Beyond some visits or when business or visiting minerva takes them there once its time is passed

Makes sense. Sooner or later, someone’s going to notice, and when that happens Hyrule had better get ready to withstand a siege, and start pushing openly. Working out ways to rapidly spread Hylian metaphysics will be called for, a subject which your own space exploration should have studied.

Yeah I could see that potentially. It'd be a slow end...
I was thinking a bit that the start it'd sort of be akin to WWI in the sense both sides the majority aren't really all that experienced in fighting the other. Sure hyrule has people held over from previous smaller conquests and skirmishes and the regular/orthodox cultivators have a lot of experience fighting amongst themselves but not many actually experienced in fighting the Hylians.

because its easier for auhor's to keep characers unique and remember their powers if he sticks to certain themes/gimmicks

in setting this can often be explained as people just focusing on deepening what they can do rather than spreading outt and being able to devote less time for mastery of each.
Laziness is also a factor, like real humans for the most part stick to learning things that are relevant to their lives and dont bother learning every martial art, every language and every sport they possibly could and stitck to what they actually need for the most part.

In Fairy Tail it's because magic and the ones using it are specialized, it's generally being far easier to get really good at one type of magic than to branch out. As a result only those who practice a single versatile type of magic actually act like more traditional wizards.

In Nanatsu no Taizai they flat out aren't magicians in most cases, their powers are magical in nature but innate abilities they either acquire through special means or just develop as they grow in power rather than actually learning magic. Though there are also actual wizards like Merlin in the world, Merlin's special power does enhance her abilities as a wizard though.

Someone may just focus on one kind of magic for one reason or another..They may not have the time, opportunity, or talent to study other magic. They might learn how to use one kind of magic for their job and if it can handle things well enough they might as well just refine it and don't really need to split their studies.

Goblins aren't some other nations. they're a species of creatures living in britain subbordinated by wizards(occasional groups of goblins forming factions to rebel not withstanding) and that means they can still own and run buisnesses. Goblins dont have some special purpose of running a bank, it just so happens that some goblins created a Bank that is one of the most secure places in the world so wizard make use of it. wizards are free to start their own banks, they'll just have a strong competitor.

No they dont.
there is two things going on.
1. there is a magical bond enslaving elves to certain properties/families, forcing them to obey orders to the letter of the law though not neccesarrily the spirit.
2: House Elves are heavily conditioned to obey their masters, they are indoctrinated to believe that they have to be slaves even if they hate their life and orders and to punish themselves if they ever have treacherous thoughts about their masters or think they displeased them.
This also extends to being made to shun other elves who desire freedom, and dislike things like payment or free time.

Presumebly they did the latter so house elves dont purposefully misinterpret their orders like we saw in the series with Dobby and Kreacher who abhored their masters and everything they stood for

Isn't is a bit depressing how things like that and the Pureblood preferential laws only actually got repealed when Hermione herself got in power?
It makes it so Shacklebolt and presumably everyone else was perfectly content to do nothing and let the system remain unfair for however long it took for her to climb the ladder. If Harry was already an Auror before that happened, he might even have enforced the unfair laws himself.

I mean sure, but that is just reality, Rowling didn't invent incompetent/maliciousness in the government(though nowadays she is taking a part in it), she just did a fantasy paralel to what actually exists.

Interestingly enough though, if you look closer to the stuff she has written in different placs, you can see that Wizarding Britain was on a path of progress and that the modern blood purist movement was partially a response to it.
Like we know that during the 60s the first mugglebrn minister for magic was elected, but this was responded to by a mass resignation of purebloods from the ministry, and Lucius Malfoy's father is implied to have assassinated the muggleborn minister, and shortly after that there were Squib's Rights Marches which were responded to by pureblood riots. The minsitry is said to have dealt with those pretty well, but it was not long after that when Voldemort started his war.
