This is important because while the exact nature of the Snap is indeterminate, given the Mind and Soul stone it's conceivable the Infinity Gauntlet could be utilised in such a way to custom tailor a Snap to erase Touhous by influencing belief at a profound level. If nothing else, the Gauntlet made Thanos more powerful than the cosmic personification of Death itself (demonstrating the ability to reproduce a phenomena on par with the Elixir's stated goal) able to defeat the embodiment of Eternity itself and usurp it's role as the center of existence. Given Kaguya had to accept that exile I assume the invulnerability of the Elixir isn't totally sovereign from some measure of suffering.

On the other hand, the Gauntlet has become pretty gay not just by association with Thanos but shit writers throwing weird ideas at it. Like making the Soul Gem a total piece of shit hungry for souls. In general it seems to be the case that youkai need fear and gods need worship, rather than just belief in their existence like say, World of Darkness magic.

One of the ways a human can become a youkai is by transforming themselves into one with magic, although "magician youkai" just seem to be immortal and lack a need for sustenance without being able to do a lot of other youkai stuff. It might not even work on youkai, since Yukari and Remilia just tell Reimu and Sakuya they could eat Mokou's liver to become immortal rather than anything about eating it themselves. Yuyuko says a ghost can become immortal that way, but they don't need human fear like a youkai does.

Sakuya has time magic, at least to the extent of speed up/slow down/stop-- I don't believe I've seen her reverse it, but I haven't read all of the side materials, so I could have easily missed this. Her magic was also largely tied up during the events of Imperishable Night insofar as stretching out the night of the false moon in order to investigate it, but we also know that:

The other thing that comes to mind is I don't think there's a need to "fiat back" the Gateway upgrades, hacking skills and software unless I'm missing some sort of theme about the technological singularity or one particular brand of technology always remaining superior above everything else in the setting (again, trying to compare to a similar provision in a different jump. Which was attached to a very high-cost perk). Just remove those weird notes that make you the god of technology for free and I think we're good.
