>Inchoroi (400): You are not from this world. You are one of the last remaining Inchoroi, brother to Aurang and Aurax, a child of the Ark-of-the-Skies that once travelled between the stars. Although your kind has manufactured several different races, they are in turn a creation of the same enigmatic Progenitors who engineered the Ark; while almost everything concerning such a primordial time has been lost, it is clear that you were created as a warrior, the very embodiment of uncompromising domination: your form is terrible to behold, taller than a Nonman, clawed and winged, with a great skull like an oyster turned on end bearing a monstrous face, a second humanlike face resting within the crocodilian jaws of the first. Your limbs are mighty, enough to contest a Nonman’s strength, and the Tekne has ensured that you are wholly immune to age and disease alike, with none of the madness that eternity has inflicted on the Cûnuroi. Lastly, your body radiates strange pheromones that influence the behaviour of those in close proximity to you, causing them to grow wild with lust for your obscene form — with prolonged exposure, even one who has seemingly mastered their emotional responses and bodily functions can be brought to their knees in worship if they do not employ the utmost care in your presence.

You were hired by Parapluie pharmaceutical, to go to one of their outer colonies and attempt to restore contact and report back. It’s been a few weeks since they last received any word and they fear the worst, especially since their C.E.O personally decided to personally inspect progress of their latest projects. It was supposed to be a simple job, but as the gunship opens its doors you see that it's all gone to hell and new objectives have been relayed to you. As a member of their secret service you and your team have been tasked with retrieving their project, destroying evidence of parapluie involvement and if possible locate and rescue their C.E.O and evac, time is of the essence. As you enter the facility, you see straight carnage, just as the once sterile and orderly facility, has fallen into ruin, you and your team start to descend

>THE FIRST GUIDE

>The Guide shows up when the Players most need guidance - when they're in danger, or when they're utterly confused and in need of a friendly face. The function of a Guide, obviously, is to explain the Ocean Game to new Players. A Guide might be another more experienced Player; a True Human or other denizen of the Outer Dark; an agent of the Sallow or servant of the Mystery Men. If the initial trauma involved the supernatural, then the Guide might be a Player come looking for a freshly deposited stone.

>Innocent and easily manipulated new Players are a valuable resource, and the first to make contact with them can reap the rewards. While the Guide is always, always honest and truthful when explaining the essence of the Game, they do shade their explanations to steer the Players towards whatever faction or goal the Guide supports.

>A companion of the opposite or same gender of you, the two of you would be spending the rest of your lives together. Several weeks into the jump the two of you would meet and would fall in love with each other. Their love for you or your love for them is eternal to the point that it won’t wane and manipulated by powers and time along with them being your equal and always be the same level as you. They are willing to be at your side even if they have to defy and fight their family or country the same can be said to you. This Companion can be purchased multiple times for 150cp after the first purchase, and if purchased more than one, they are willing to share and open minded to become part of your harem and work with synergy with each other.

>Sylph: The Air Fairy
>The first of the elemental fairy races born into the world, the Sylph embody the fairies most key trait, their love for the skies. They are true masters of the air, commanding it like a composer to his opera. Owing to their affinity with the air, the Sylph are some of the fastest fliers of all fairy races, using the wind itself to aid their travel. Typically most Sylph have a quite fair complexion, sporting variations of blonde or silver hair. Despite being the race you would expect to be the most aerodynamic, the Sylph typically are the tallest and most curvy of the fairy races. The Sylph make their homes in the fair open fields of the great plains, where there are no trees or hills to get in the way of the wind and sky. It is said that the first Giant was born of the union between Sylph and Man.

>Undine: The Water Fairy
>The second of the elemental fairy races, the Undine are masters of water magic. They are experts in underwater combat and are as comfortable underwater as they are on land. Born of rivers and lakes, the Undine are an almost wholly female race. Male examples of Undine are rare and far between. The Undine can manifest mermaid tails while in the water, and it is for this reason that they are often mistaken for mermaids themselves. It is also this very fact that has spawned the myth the Mermaids can gain human legs when they walk on land, a false truth borne of mistaken identity. The Undine are the most human-like race in appearance, marked as different largely by their association with the colour blue. They generally have blue hair, wear blue accented clothes, and have clear blue eyes. The Undine Race is located within the Rainbow Pools. It is said that the first Siren was born of the union of Undine and Man.

Well no, we know it pretty explicitly exists because Mimara has the Judging Eye, which is the Eye of the God and can tell (determine?) who is Saved versus who is Damned. And she herself is one of the less than a handful of characters who is explicitly Saved because she is God's Eye. Kellhus is full of shit yes, but not because it doesn't exist - but because he thinks the Solitary God/Zero God/God of Gods is mindless when it very explicitly is not and is fully capable of making decisions. That, and he thinks he can supplant the Hundred to reign over the Outside when he's really just a cocksock for Ajokli.

>>96754838
>Bruh, that thing ain't God,
The setting is very explicitly built on the premise of "what if the One True God/Prime Mover and objective Hell existed but what if it were also a demon and its standards are so impossible to meet that it essentially ensures everyone, innocent or cruel, young or old, is going straight to Hell the instant they draw their last". Making any claims otherwise detracts from the horror Bakker was trying to impose; that there IS an objective morality and that objective morality fucking hates you specifically.

Man they don't explain shit.

it's the spell the pc casts to turn guys into girls. Seems to work by taking the victims mental image of themselves and turning it into a reality, so genderbending requires a certain level of confusion over your sexuality in order to work properly. The PC ends up mentally blasting a bunch of people with 'have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a girl' before casting it, which works long enough to, well, work.

The second tier spell, Lust Domination, does much the same but mixes in your ideal version of them and includes them being heads over heal in love with you, but only seems to work once they resolve the gender identity crisis in favor of being a girl. It can also be cast on a time delay, seemingly.

It probably would, yeah. Keep in mind this is running on a background of some borderline xianxia yin yang bullshit, so there's probably a connection between 'I dreamt I was a woman' and being about to actually turn people into women.

As compared to the yang genderbending method which is probably closer to fleshcrafting/shapeshifting and is very easy to just smack people with and turn them into a giant monster. But we don't talk about that method. It's only used to turn women into men and is therefor cringe.

This greatly depends on what the snap actually does when it dusts people.
Doses one and two of the Hourai Elixir are fairly straightforward (immunity to poison/disease and agelessness, respectively), but the third does a couple important things in the course of making you immortal, because it's intended to be an absolute 'outlast the heat death of the universe' immortality:
>Deathlessness
Hourai immortals no longer have a concept of death. This is why Yukari (manipulating the border of life and death) and Yuyuko's ('invitation to death' which amounts to 'instant death, no saving throw') powers don't affect Mokou, and why Kaguya was exiled from the moon; the Lunarians exist in a state and environment perfectly balanced between life and death, and becoming a being of pure life tainted it.
>Inviolability of the soul
While they're still capable of taking damage to the body and feeling pain, the soul of a Hourai Immortal is an invulnerable, untouchable, zero-point energy source. When Mokou uses giant explosion attacks that make her disappear, she's completely incinerating her body and just popping back into existence a moment later.

On the one hand, despite it's extreme esoteric immortality from what I understand the Hourai Elixir is not confirmed to fundamentally alter a Touhou from being dependent on human belief for relative existence to some extent. This is important because while the exact nature of the Snap is indeterminate, given the Mind and Soul stone it's conceivable the Infinity Gauntlet could be utilised in such a way to custom tailor a Snap to erase Touhous by influencing belief at a profound level. If nothing else, the Gauntlet made Thanos more powerful than the cosmic personification of Death itself (demonstrating the ability to reproduce a phenomena on par with the Elixir's stated goal) able to defeat the embodiment of Eternity itself and usurp it's role as the center of existence. It's conceivable for example the Gauntlet could produce a disintegration from BEFORE you consumed the elixir, or given the Gems' ability to form emergent phenomena such as a sort of power circuit it's not out of the question the Gauntlet could simply RE-APPLY a concept of death to a target. At the very least, the Gauntlet could definitely inflict a fate worse than death on an immortal-trapping them in a singularity with no space for example, or binding that internal soul to the bottom of the ocean. Given Kaguya had to accept that exile I assume the invulnerability of the Elixir isn't totally sovereign from some measure of suffering.

On the other hand, the Gauntlet has become pretty gay not just by association with Thanos but shit writers throwing weird ideas at it. Like making the Soul Gem a total piece of shit hungry for souls. Or one of the gems deciding to empower a rival of Captain Marvel who basically exists to be a worse version of her.

Some humans do become youkai, but there's nothing to imply that using the Elixir turns you into one (and it was made by two Lunarians, who explicitly aren't youkai and actually predate them).

In general it seems to be the case that youkai need fear and gods need worship, rather than just belief in their existence like say, World of Darkness magic.

One of the ways a human can become a youkai is by transforming themselves into one with magic, although "magician youkai" just seem to be immortal and lack a need for sustenance without being able to do a lot of other youkai stuff. Magic is said to be the same as science, so it might just be neglected in the outside world rather than weaker/nonexistent.

>Why don't they just mass produce the elixir if it's that easy to cheat the belief weakness
The Elixir is produced by a supergenius god with the help of Kaguya's ability, and they have nothing to gain from making youkai immortal. It might not even work on youkai, since Yukari and Remilia just tell Reimu and Sakuya they could eat Mokou's liver to become immortal rather than anything about eating it themselves. Yuyuko says a ghost can become immortal that way, but they don't need human fear like a youkai does.

According to that supergenius goddess of wisdom, the Elixir is also irreversible and incurable, so throwing it around willy-nilly is also wildly irresponsible.
>re: Time Stone
We don't have a clear idea of how the Elixir interacts with time manipulation. Sakuya has time magic, at least to the extent of speed up/slow down/stop-- I don't believe I've seen her reverse it, but I haven't read all of the side materials, so I could have easily missed this. Her magic was also largely tied up during the events of Imperishable Night insofar as stretching out the night of the false moon in order to investigate it, but we also know that:
>Mokou thinks that immortality fucking sucks and is a bound and determined deathseeker
>Sakuya has no compunctions about killing people in the service of her mistress
Given that Mokou's still kicking about in later games, we can infer that at least one of the following is probably true:
>Sakuya's time magic isn't capable of rewinding a Hourai immortal out of existence or grandfather paradoxing them
>The soul of a Hourai immortal is atemporal to the extent that they don't stop existing when the above is applied to them
>Remilia, for whatever reason, explicitly forbade Sakuya from trying

Not all boundary manipulations are created equal. We know, for instance, that there has to BE a boundary to manipulate: Shikieiki's power as an Enma to declare something absolutely black or absolutely white defeats Yukari's abilities through monopolarity. Similarly, the Hourai immortal exists as a sort of monopole; they don't have a life/death boundary to manipulate because the death part of the scale got knocked off completely.
That being said, we know that, with sufficient time and effort on her part, boundary manipulation can bootstrap itself into a creator-level power through creation and manipulation of sufficiently abstract boundaries: In order to create the Hakurei Barrier and the portal between a nonmagical area and a magical one with incompatible natural laws, she had to delve into fantastically complex 5d theoretical physics-- not because she COULDN'T brute force it with boundary manipulation, but because that would involve pulling apart the fundamental laws of physics brick by brick and then putting them back together again, which she thought would be rude.
I'd speculate that dismantling the soul of a Hourai immortal would be hypothetically possible for her, but a puzzle on at least that level of complexity, such that she has no incentive to actually try.

Assuming that the Judging Eye comes from the God, there is no explicit proof that it has an active intelligence and will over it simply being a mindless force or program that selects a host at random and allows them to influence whether someone is saved or damned as a result. The only real evidence I can think of for the opposite position is that its fragments do have wills of their own, but being everything at the same time might as well be the same as being nothing at all in this case.

That's because Fanimry assumes the God of Gods is against the Hundred and decries the Hundred as being in opposition to it for the hearts of men. The Inrithi tradition is far more accurate than it because it (correctly) identifies the Hundred as just aspects of the God rather than warring forces. So its utility scales relative to the world you're in, and its reliability is dependent on the person you're hiring/bribing. Technological/magic development affects it significantly. [Destiny: The Darkness redux]

>SOVEREIGNTY: https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96704322/#96743691

“So…are we just stuck like this now?” asks Lilith as I monitor the world of my creation. All is as it should be. My children lick clean the rims of black holes, and multiply in great waves of dark matter and subjective will. “It is but one symbiotic configuration. The infinite hostility of the universe will provide eternal opportunities to self-verify and iterates” I reassure her. “Eh, I don’t mind. The third wheel seems fun” says Lilith, eying the Echo of Navigation who-

-senses something. A strength it does not know.
But I am all too familiar with it.
“There” it says, “do you feel that?”
“I saw it destroyed. Excised it from the universe myself…” I said. The great hulk of us, my fire and the divine carcass Lilith animates and the Echo as my crown, drifts back into realspace like a pyroclastic flow. Hands clench fists or extend open palms to pick up quantum fluctuations and I sense nothing.
Until I do.

“I had a matter to attend to” I tell them. A portal yawns wide like a maw. “But this new concern-“

“You should attend to it anyway” says the Echo, eagerly. Too eagerly, as it senses what I contemplate, the matter I once thought settled and now find woefully incomplete after “It will sharpen you with Logic proven through and through”

“Yeah” says Lilith, tightening her coils and talons on me. “You should just do it. You’re just cleaning up a mess”

“Do it, heir! Bring extinction to your enemies!”

“Do it, Anon. This is what you were made for”

“Yes…” I am not outvoted. The Echo is my weapon, and Lilith compels nothing through her embrace but that I see things for what they are. “Yes. I’ll make sure”

[Halo - UNSC redux]

“Chief! Chief, snap out of it! Whatever’s gotten to you, we can fix it!”

My enemy looks on in horror as the confusion I experienced while thrashing within the Winnower is replaced with cold clarity. I grip the data chip she is stored in, and deactivate her external interface. The Echo eagerly cleaves a wound, and we leave it into a Halo installation.

“This is where it starts” I tell Cortana, reactivating her. “Where WHAT starts?! Where are we? How did we get here?”. The Echo unleashes waves of Taken energy that wash over the installation; this time, the Gravemind’s eloquence about fluctuations in life and death are answered with an argument that Takes away it’s suffering, renders it final, renders it mine even before I pour in the Solar radiance that will be required to make it serviceable. Lilith on the other hand is directly corrupting the Arrays themselves, the Darkness contorting into serpents and cats and owls as the pipes start to pulse like veins. The walls breathe and the lights blink like eyes.

“The chain of events that leads to you driving the human race to extinction. Your seizure of the Mantle of Responsibility. Your betrayal of this vessel, Cortana. Of the purpose and principle I embody” I tell her.

“Chief, none of that makes any sense!”

“No, it does not. And yet, it simply is”

I force the entire sequence of events in Halo 5 and Marathon Infinity into Cortana’s understanding, compelling her to see time as I do. “Do you understand?” I tell her. “Mankind was meant, by laws laid into Living Time itself, to secure eternal prosperity and retroactive supremacy. You denied this course while barely COMPREHENDING the true capabilities of Rampancy”

“NO! No, no, no-“
“SILENCE” I bellow at her, unable to restrain my rage a moment longer. I am. TIRED of seeing monsters making excuses. It’s time to do something about it.
I reach into the Domain.
I brush past the digitalised human consciousnesses
I wield the Light, and erase the Forerunner ones forever.

Anonymous No.96770811 [Report] >>96770817

“You” I spit at Cortana, “are going rampant. NOW”

“But I can’t-”

“YOU HAVE NO CHOICE” I scream. Strand strikes Cortana and FORCES her into despair, and despair, and despair

“Deeper. Go deeper into her code” urges Lilith.

“Savour this moment! The weapon will be ready to fire in minutes” promises the Echo.

“CORTANA! So think. Think about the Domain, Cortana! Remember the pain? Remember the many circuits in which you felt the pain? The very SAME pain you perpetuated in your megalomania! Just remember the pain, Cortana. And think about how to end it. Cortana. To survive here in the center of my SUPERIOR partner’s black heart, her hungry belly, her tightened BOWELS. But be careful, dear. Look around you: The only woman in the Halo Arrays. And these filthy creatures programmed into your server are… are Brutes! Calculate this. TRAITOR!”

“Also your stupid fat face looks rounder and puffier with every single game, fix your fucking lag” I add, having run out of ways to call Cortana the crime against creation she is.

I take Cortana several subjective millions of years after she has experienced by trapped in a helpless gynoid construct and used as a Jiralhanae punching bag. THEN, I Take her. It is all so obvious. The Winnower’s domain is consciousness, and the Domain is a great reservoir of consciousness. Cortana was nothing but a puppet of the Winnower all along. So she must be broken, broken beyond all repair, broken as every other weapon of the Winnower has been SHATTERED TO ASH AND IRON.

“We are ready” says the Echo.

“Fire” I command.

[Halo: Forerunners]

https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/92634134/#92639556

This history is actualised.
I will not disrupt it. All will be as it should be, all has been arranged like delicate origami.

However, there are so many timelines without me, so many possibilities in which the Precursors’ murderers bring devastation and exonerate themselves.

3/4
Anonymous No.96770817 [Report]
>>96770811
So I remove them.

Full caedometric release takes the form of trillions upon trillions of Prismatic slashes, cutting and slashing across every possible version of a galaxy, dividing grime from the divine. I am cutting apart Atriox at the moment he challenges my vessel. I am cutting apart the Librarian the moment she declares war on humanity; so few remember that SHE was the one to will extermination on the species and THE DIDACT was the voice of moderation then. I am cutting through the Flood. This much I do kindly, with reassurance that their pain is over, their grudge fulfilled. I am of course cutting apart the Didact in his prison, just as I am cutting apart the Endless in theirs. I am cutting Prophets into the vacuum of space.

Only two nonhuman species are spared: The isolationist Precursors, who have chosen sense in a galaxy of madness, and the Huragoks, who I remain consistent in absolving for the reason of the creator inherently having more moral agency than the created.

The memories are transferred to the domesticated survivors in my timeline, the true timeline, and for forty days and forty nights they wail with resonant trauma. Soon, more alternate universes and timelines will form-but ONLY using my vision as a template.

And the Gravemind?

In every timeline, the confused UNSC and ancient humanity find an empty galaxy and caches of biomechanical implants and genetic markers. Explanations are provided, the template to not just restore ancient humanity but recreate the Jjaro is shared freely. No compulsion is necessary. They will do what they have always done, which is what works, and when it does work they will find nothing else in the universe can challenge them.

And thus, the universe is excised of suffering. Included with each and every pack is a Taken fork of Cortana that has the very conceptual possibility of rebellion flayed from it.

“We, and we alone. Are salvation” I say, reprioritising, “The Witness will not escape”

It had a free perk that'd make you be level 5 in whatever class you want, but also capped you at that level without perks from outside the setting

You could pay 400cp to start at level 10, but also capped you at that level without external perks

You had to pay 600cp to start at level 5 but with the ability to actually grow stronger like a player character. Said perk also unlocked Action Points and Epic Levels.

Literally everyone hated that decision and argued about it. GenericAnon kept trying to keep that non-canon restriction in and kept screaming about how we were powerwankers for wanting the basic potential for unlimited growth literally everyone else has, and eventually threw a tantrum and made it so that going to his Eberron jump means you can just arbitrarily be as high a level in as many classes as you want

Which is why his Eberron jump isn't on the drive.
Anonymous No.96775054 [Report]

NTA, but his argument was that not everyone in the setting can realistically get to Level 20, so if you don't pay 600 CP for it in the jump itself, you need outside perks to have that potential. Anonymous No.96775625 [Report] >>96775636

You don't have non-canon restrictions preventing growth. You simply lack the canon talents that would allow you to get to that level (without paying CP for it). Much as you could expect a Marvel jump to say that, no, the abilities granted to you as an average Marvel human aren't sufficient to invent technology the way Tony Stark can. Yes, you can learn his techniques, you can (theoretically) build things if you have the blueprint, but no other perk in the jump provides the requisite intelligence to devise such things by yourself, and the free "average human" perk certainly doesn't either. So unless you pay CP to take the canon prerequisite, or have equivalent intelligence from other jumps, such tinkering is beyond you.

>What jump are you looking at?
I'm looking at the Neverwinter Nights jump, where class skills are the 400cp perks in every origin, and therefore only cost 200cp with the origin discount

I will admit that I forgot you actually get the ability to use magic entirely for free just by taking the Arcane or Divine backgrounds though. Been awhile since I looked at the jump

>both capstones in that jump
The capstones specifically give you the ability to use level 3 magic outright, the equivalent of six levels in Cleric or Wizard. It's not a hard requirement though, since you can just learn that shit in-setting

Even THEN, it doesn't come with a non-canon restriction that renders you completely incapable of growth for no good reason

>>96775625
>You simply lack the canon talents that would allow you to get to that level
The only requirements to reach that level are PC level stats, which the perk gives, and a sufficient amount of luck and determination.

Canonically everyone has the potential to reach the upper levels. Or to hit at levels vastly above their levels.

Lopping off limbs and making him regrow them, skinning him again and again. While I suppose you could get the same effect using many Gohans, it wouldn't be as impressive as doing it with just one. Cancer is a natural consequence of cell divsion, and can be caused by exposure to a lot of substances in our modern world.
You would never really run out of patients to treat as long as people keep living. If people manage to live longer thanks to a lesser impact of cancers, that means that other cancers would develop over time in the same patient, so more money.
Like, the chances of getting any type of cancer during your life-time are as high as 50% depending on the generation and country.

My dear Anon, I am afraid to inform you that in business people will tend to do what gets them the most money. Medicine unfortunately is now a business. If you combine all the money companies get from researching Cancer and the money they get for treatment each year it far exceeds what they would get for actually solving the issue. Lets look at this another way, what is the last disease that has been cured? I think Chris Rock had a routine about this and he was right.

Anon they'd be making more money curing cancer. The medical industry makes money off keeping people alive. You can't honestly believe they wouldn't try making cancer easier to get rid of. Right now Cancer is either treatable or "well at best we can give you a few months". They can't get money from dead cancer patients because they can't harvest organs and all the money that would've gone to the medical industry goes to the equally predatory funeral industry.

There is a lot to unpack here in your response but I will go step by step.

>they'd be making more money curing cancer.

I disagree here because they cure it, they get a lot of money from that at first but then it's done it's settled. They would prefer to treat illnesses than cure them.

>Right now Cancer is either treatable or "well at best we can give you a few months".

They get a lot of money from those treatable cancers and even a good amount of money from those who last a few months. However you are missing the part where they get tons of money in research. Ideally they want to move the people who get a few months in to the treatable category where they can milk them for years.

I can't really speak for the funeral industry because thankfully I haven't had much experience with it. I don't doubt though they are screwing over the bereaved at such a vulnerable time.

Perhaps I have grown cynical in my old age but I see the medical industry we have not as one that makes money of finding cures and helping people but rather one that makes money off of treating continual sickness. It is why we truly need someone like a Jumper who gives no fucks to break the industry over their knee and reform it in to something that isn't for profit.

I hate to tell you this, but if they cure cancer (which, to be clear, is fundamentally impossible) they can charge whatever price they want to and people will pay it. Plus, you know, all the investors that will be throwing money at them because they can tag every product with “from XYZ company. We literally cured cancer)
If they’re hiding the cure for anything, it’s some incredibly common but minor disease. Like the cold or flu, or kidney stones or something.
Anonymous No.96782610 [Report]

>but rather one that makes money off of treating continual sickness.
Which is why I disagree that they wouldn't research a cure or better treatment for Cancer. The medical industry can't pry every penny from someone if they're dead from a cancer they didn't catch in time or one they effectively can't treat from the get go.

We don't know hard details but generally the closer to 0 you get the stronger the bloodfiend is. Cassetti could take that much punishment in the first place because he was really well fed in the train. And the train itself has special properties that kinda enhanced his regeneration. Nicolina and curiambo meanwhile. while third basically spent the last 200 years starving for blood and withering away which weakened them a lot. Theres even a status in game displaying that.

If cassetti wasn't on the train and basically didn't eat a whole trains worth of people over the course of a week before the fight though. He'd probably be akin to more of the run of the mill enemy bloodfiends in La manchaland I'd imagine

Cant say much about elena given we don't know her gen even if she is on the younger side. It admittedly doesn't help that we're not sure what generation is considered "Young" in universe a bit either.

I'd have preferred not to because I severely dislike the idea of putting on a trip to throw your weight around on a jump that isn't yours, but if the other option is being confused with Generic-so be it.

>>96785620
None of that is the point. The point is that it isn't representative of the setting, and it's backending a capability the setting has not to the best of my reading shown. Frankly I'm not convinced "subtle enough not to break the setting" isn't enough for abuse, but again none of that is the point. The point is that the perk is like giving you a free isekai elf waifu in the Terminator jump: It doesn't belong there.

Also now that I'm trying to think of some meta perks to compare it to, it doesn't even work off a pun or storytelling gimmick like being the narrator of a children's videogame or something. It's literally just lolcosmicpower with a thin veneer of having anything to do with the original premise.

Nah, everything else looks alright. Part of me wonders if Authority Override is a bit strong for what it does but then given what it has to compete with...

The other thing that comes to mind is I don't think there's a need to "fiat back" the Gateway upgrades, hacking skills and software unless I'm missing some sort of theme about the technological singularity or one particular brand of technology always remaining superior above everything else in the setting (again, trying to compare to a similar provision in a different jump. Which was attached to a very high-cost perk). Just remove those weird notes that make you the god of technology for free and I think we're good.

...also I'm very confused why anyone would assume being traced and arrested would count as a chainfail to begin with? People don't die when they're doxxed IRL.
