In a setting isekai there is a group of extradimensional entities that conquered a world and use it with their powers to simulate a videogame for people from the earth, with for example one of them handling graphic, using her immense illusion powers.
There are also entities considered gods who created most things in that world, but now they aren't around, and there are maybe two characters connected to them, we know nothing of their powers.
If I take the drawback that make me an enemy of the local gods in generic isekai it should apply to the first ones or should I completely headcanon how the second ones are? What do you think?

For writefags has anyone ever lost the plot? I mean you have your jumper go to a setting, you want them to mostly do their own thing (Partially because I can't find the source material online for free) also it's a first jump so I want my jumper to take it at their own pace. I had a plot in mind, in fact it was a rewrite of a first jump for a chain, then I decided fuck it I don't really like the plot past a certain point so I will change it. Only problem... I am drawing a blank as to the general over arching later plot that would replace it. I am guessing this is just a me problem but any advice for when you are feeling stumped would be appreciated.

It was all pretty easy. Someone much smarter than me programmed all the different light configurations on the first day. I just had to make sure to switch between the cues to match each scene. It's all handled from a single light board so I didn't actually have to be anywhere near the lights themselves.

It doesn't kill them because it wants to kill them, because there's no wanting involved. It's not a conscious decision per se. It kills them because it is a demon and it is compelled by its nature as a demon to do so.
I think it's something akin to the White Man's Burden, but approached from the other direction: The British believed that the natives of the frontier were savage because it was a natural property of their subhumanity to be savages (thus compelling them to impose civilization on them), regardless of any more rational explanatory context. In the case of demons, though, it's literally the case: Demons kill humans because it is indelible natural compulsion of demons to kill humans by virtue of being demons. Some of them might be self-aware enough to realize this, and to examine their own phenomenal nature with curiosity, but they'll continue to kill all the same because they can't choose not to do so.

I have three seperate ways to deal with writer's block in my solo rpg stuff
1. The "Shower method": Go take a walk or take a shower. Get away from a screen or away from your writing pad and just zone out, thinking about the situation that's going on in your game or chain
2. The "Oracle Method": go find an oracle chart or table with a bunch of prompts on it and roll for a random result. Whatever comes out, see what comes to mind.
3. The "ChatGPT method". I hate to admit it, but if the other two methods have failed me. Then on occasion I'll use chat gpt or an AI model to help me come up with a story. I won't have it write out a whole huge story, but I will ask it like, "This is what's currently going on in my story... What should happen next?" or "What's an event that could unfold here to make things more exciting?" Use this last one sparingly because honestly AI is sort of braindead after a while. It's best used in short spurts for one or two little things in a bigger, more complex series.

Perk 1: Comedic durability perk, so you too can shrug off being tackled off of a third story building by a friendly wolfgirl
Perk 2: Anime aesthetics perk, so you too can be the big breasted girl with silver hair and blood red eyes. Or bland average transfer student boy, I guess. Weird colours won't be remarked on and ears/tails will be passed off as an accessory.

Perk 3: Cooking perk. Because the protagonist knows how to barbaque and was so offended by Freya's lack of skill at cooking that he abandoned his escape to teach her
Perk 4: Enhanced Senses perk. Enough to hear and track someone by sound across half a building. Stacks with being a wolfgirl

Perk 5: Supernatural being attracting smell perk.
Perk 6: Perk that ensures you can break through a person's shyness if you keep trying. The entire reason the protagonist kept doing his best to escape Freya was because he was shy, and Freya DID eventually manage to get the guy.

Perk 7: Perk that ensures there'll always be SOME way to avoid monsters. Starts off normal but gets increasingly outlandish the more often you use the perk.
Perk 8: Rapid skill/power refinement while focusing on a single task, representing Freya's growth during the game

Item 1: MEAT SALE. 80% off premium meat, once a month. Comes with a barbacue
Item 2: Dog taming whistle. Or free taxi? Maybe just vague helpful items
Item 3: Strength potion. Makes you powerful enough to fight on par with a wolfgirl.
Item 4: Book of Dark Magic. Lets you summon a small army of loyal cursed wooden dolls that are as strong as a normal human

Drawbacks
Drawback 1: Obsessive love
Drawback 2: Girlfailure
Drawback 3: Bad luck
Drawback 4: Protagonist tier Shyness

Fire Emblem magic is total garbage yeah? Never played the games so I'm just reading through the various jump docs with no outside knowledge but it just all seems very disappointing.

A little better than some low fantasy sword and sorcery stuff since it does that and basic combat spells, but not really where you want to stay in terms of potential since even its outliers are kind of mid in terms of investment compared to more flexible/powerful systems.

In terms of gameplay or lore? In gameplay magic tends to be better than normal weapons because it has 1-2 range by default. This has dropped off slightly in later games where they introduce archers with 2-3 range weaponry, but it’s still pretty good overall. Swords are of course the strongest, but tend to lack range.

In lore…. It tends to vary? Tharja has a ton of minor spells that do this and that which are pretty good, and the entire plot of awakening is you cleaning up some guys alchemy experiment that went on for too long and almost became a god, but by and large shit like that is both never explained and never available to the player.

It’s very Conan/swords and sorcery at the end of the day. The evil wizard has a spell that lets him mind control the entire nation, oh no! Unfortunately, this does not make him immune to being stabbed.
