I've actually been trying to find some armor and gear for my Drago-man, it won't be a full set like that custom, but it'll be some simple adventuring gear to make him look a bit more civilized. So far have some asymmetrical bracers, a couple of belts and I'm working on fitting him some battered greaves. Might give him some different weapons too, a sword and board that feels a bit more...adventurer-y. Cool figure otherwise, but definitely lacking in gear as far as I'm concerned.

I'm looking forward to the merch Zootopia gets this time around. At the time I certainly wish the first movie had more and "better" toys available, but what we got was still pretty charming. Tomy was pretty a-ok all things considered.

Plus it was neat going into Target and Toys R Us and having this whole section "furrified" in a way. Still wish the Chief Bogo figure had come out.

Well, she has that little trowel and sickle, but for the most part I think she's more of a healer/salve maker, what with those potions bottles and all. Rather than fighting directly, seems she's the type to buff and heal allies and debuff/apply DOTs to enemies by chucking bottles at them. We'll have to wait until her profile is up on the website to see what she's actually spec'd out for.

The vibe I'm getting so far for the game is something akin to Atelier with a dash of Fantasy Life, lots of focus on crafting and alchemy with what feels like a light low stakes adventure and minimal combat, hence more tools and less weapons for accessories. And honestly, I'm all here for it. Most RPG themed settings have all the usual clichés derived from DQ, FF and D&D, so this direction they're going with is far less overdone.

I think there will be at least one male character though, eventually.

But she does suffer the curse of a huge fluffy tail since its a heay piece of plastic it will make her fall backwards if you don't stand her up properly. They fugged up by giving her a summer fur coat in what's clearly a cold winter season. She's an arctic fox, this animal drastically changes appearance between seasons, in warm seasons they have short grey fur and in cold times they shed it for a thick white warm coat. The white coat is more broadly associated with arctic foxes, it's much more distinct and can't be mistaken for wolves, it was totally a missed opportunity to make Liya in white. Though she's kind of sculpted with the light and short summer coat in mind so without the puffy fur it wouldn't be perfect, but I'd still take it over yet another grey one.

Well, the Mechanic version is dressed for summer/warm weather. That New Year's art was released before her toy actually started hitting shelves - if they did it with a proper winter coat, people wouldn't recognize her as being the same character, since she would look so drastically different and people weren't really familiar with her yet.

Besides stuff like the new years dress, I can see them re-releasing these characters in "leveled up" gear sets and classes. Like Liya is a novice adventurer who likes to tinker with mechanics but who's to say she won't grow here stats, get better with a sword and build herself a set of steam punkish armor to help her on her journey. Similarly, I can see them leaning more into the "Ninja" look with Tonia, who then uses her Herbology skill to make ninja bombs and potions.

These are supposed to be characters from a franchise, and they'll most likely "grow up" and get better gear over time the more adventures they go on.

When it's clicked in the "up" position it wobbles, but "down" it has a peg to secure it a bit. I would of thought this was QC and they didnt glue it in, but it is intentional and in the instructions.
