Can actually agree on this. The first game is actually dope as fuck and it suits the theme of a mature kratos.
The greek GoW took many games to include the entire Greek pantheon because of how massive it was. So the Nordic one should've been just as wide with the vidya amount with 3 main one's and some side steps here and there.
The first one served as a good introduction to it, and they fucking nailed it with Mimir, he's from celtic mythology confirming that Kratos' meddling fucked up the borders between the realms and hence why the gods would want to fuck him up. He even introduced the player to how scummy the gods were. So i thought

Nope, it's just avengers with mythological figures. The plan that i wrote right here would've been perfect, you get new fans and the old one's get their fill of bloodshed they're used to.

You do realize that the writers could've made Kratos more mature AND still not have him br a complete loser right?
Simple, keep Kratos calm for the first half of the first game, until a boss battle with Baldur, where Atreus gets hurt.
Kratos then loses his cool and kills Baldur on the spot, declaring war on Asgard and revealing to Atreus his past.
That fucking simple, you get a mature Kratos who hasn't lost his edge, best of both worlds. But they just wrote marvel scripts instead.

I've never played a gacha game BECAUSE there's gambling, and I don't gamble in real life, I've never used money on a gacha either

That's why I'll never buy a console ever again, PS2 was the last of its kind and PS3 brought about the end times.
On PC, the hardware can change, but the games stay. I can still play games I own from the 90's and early 2000's.
Hell, I can play every console and handheld game between 1990 to 2020 on an emulator. People who don't see the glory that is PC are just mentally stunted.

Both games run at 30fps, Switch 2 dipping to 28. 30fps is absolutely unacceptable, it's a literal slideshow.
