That actually is pretty ingenious of a design. But I think that mainly has to do with design ethos, Kamen Riders are pretty much guys in a suit so you can get away with things like that webm. I'm sure even some Iron Mans had some extra articulation they could get away with because it's a mechanical suit unlike other Figuarts which are meant to emulate a human, even anime ones.
Also the Rider team has been there from the start, they can get some damn good engineering. Been loving SS Gaim's Arms Change gimmick and will probably have to invest in the line to make the most out of the Arms Change.

Well, there are various budget releases for OP and DB too, as well as some Figure Rise kits for Dragonball that are pretty good. SHF and third party shf-scaled figures are your best bet.

In general? Kamen Rider is the line you'll see the most consistently good across the board, plus they're privy to a premium subline called Shinkocchou Seihou which as of now is used to make 2.0s of old Kamen Rider Figuarts from the early 2010s and have expanded to Ultraman and Super Sentai. If you have no interest in that then for everything else you'll have to look into the characters and see if you like them enough to get them. Currently there are figures based on Shounen Jump related IPs. You'll just to decide if you want them or not and also to watch out for QC problems on some figures because Bandai is producing a lot more figures than they used to but that's a general advice given to any toyline really.
Oh and general rule of thumb when Bandai announces a new line of Figures based on an IP that they usually make 2-3 figures first and if successful they'll probably start making more but if not they'll just leave it at that and move on.
If you're referring to UMAs then everything else in the line are generally good, they're just your bog standard small female figures. Though it appears Bandai isn't making any more of them.

The items that disappear in seconds tend to never be available on the sites after release, they just go to discontinued, order stop, etc. The ones that are available afterwards tend to be the ones that were pretty easy to get on PO day, available for minutes, hours, become available again months later.

By using perspective Oda can convey 2 characters emotions through facial expressions at the same time without having to use split panels. He uses that technique a lot, especially during fights.
