That's assuming it doesn't cost more to change the colours around to what you think is better. There are aspects to consider like matching colours with the joints that are unpainted and of different materials than the body. I just don't think they have the freedom of range you think they do, well for the budget. As for statues they do obviously.

I guess he'll be featured quite a bit in S3, but after beating a few monsters and his fight with Nyaan he kinda loses relevance. The heat thing only works on certain types of joints like ball joints or the figma style joints often used for elbows and wrists. I don't think Mirko's legs can be disassembled without breaking something. Plus it's probably dried by now too so there wouldn't be anything to wipe off like that anon is saying

Not him, but polyurethane floor gloss. It'll easily flow into the gaps in the joint and it doesn't adhere the joint together so strongly that you can't move it.

I think Bang is a good choice, especially since he's relevant to the upcoming arc (though probably more in a supposed wave 4, cause I doubt they're finishing the MA arc in S3). And if they were making these during S1, then Puri would be a solid choice, but that's 10 years ago. Sonic and Flash can be done together later, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tatsumaki is the last of these 3 (assuming we're getting another 3). Though, Yamaguchi doesn't seem to like sculpting women, so maybe he can make the men while someone else can handle the female characters, like in the MHA line.

I too found out way too late that she's a solid figure with some shortcomings like the wrists. Which is why the moment I saw the Unkval's articulation, I paid in full because I feared the preorder would be cancelled had I only paid 10% of it, something that ended up happening to some people.

I have yet to received mine but so far he seems to be an improvement of the Mantis, though I'm afraid I might get an issue, who knows.

Plastic is plastic dude lol. They're not made of titanium. Revolver Joints were big and ratcheted, that were all there were that made it unique but I never thought they were specially stronger. Old ones could crumble over time, some were falling apart out of the box (QB era). Kaiyodo has the worst QC in the industry so chances are you will encounter bad joints here and there.

Bandai often have joints with metal pins they are physically sturdier just for that lol. Toys are just toys and these are not even tested for abuse so not sure why anons have this belief with Revoltechs.

Some announcements can take 2 years for us to see a proto (Garou was a while ago), but there's also a chance you'll see at least a proto of Snake at the end of the month.
Kaiyodo has been rather quick as of late, and I suspect they wanna put Snake up for pre-order before Delta releases to coincide with it, so I'm ASSUMING we'll see Snake, maybe The Boss, at WonFes at the end of this month. Don't take my words as gospel, though.

Am I missing something? Are anons confusing one knee related issue with the style of joint? Unless they are the same double joints all other action figure use it's ugly? Anatomically incorrect double jointed knees on human figures are ugly too. These knees are trying to be visually superior not showing a joint, have the correct anatomy of a single hinge knee, and overcome the range limitation by having a hidden second joint in the shins. Combined the leg looks more natural straight or bent. Handling of a kneecap was a problem but not when they don't need to sculpt one.

I hove both old and new and not sure what's being implied here. There are multiple joints you can use to make one leg look longer. Maybe one joint isn't inserted all the way. But from what I can see, without taking apart, the parts all look even on both sides.

Posing can make the difference, for example look at how the top of the legs are uneven.

Yeah no AY works better especially for doing multiple character designs. Unkval's joints works for the visuals because they design the body that way, but for example doing the same legs for any random AY you're stuck with the ugly separations of double jointed knees, and this mostly use one of the hinge anyways. It's not that much of an improvement unless the body design has that separation lines there as default like Unkval.
Elbows are inferior method for articulation compared to what AY are doing since it eliminates all the twists and tilts spherical joints bring.

All Sexyice is doing "better" is making one time use joints intended for one body sculpt (and some variants) that blends in since it is part of the design. This is something Kaiyodo will never do since shared joints are necessary to reduce mold costs.

The company that should be doing what Sexyice has done is Bandai. They often make new joints for new SHF and their articulation range are often not near their full potential.

I'm not a big fan of what they did with the hip area btw. Seems over complicated. Two sequential ball-peg joints at the hip and thighs would do what they want Unkval to do.

Different processes can be handled by different toy companies for the same product. Sculpting could be outsourced for a figma say to Freeing. But Figma is GSC's product, and they probably handles distribution for all of them. Sentinel or Kaiyodo were outsourced to sculpt Vulcanlogs' product owned and distributed by Union Creative. Sentinel designs and sells a mecha action figure, then GSC buys the design from them to make model kit versions. They all just collaborate time to time to benefit from one another.

I'm a bit disappointed the only melee weapon he has is the bat. Maybe a hokey stick? Something larger might be fun. The blade of the stick could be an actual blade, maybe a laser blade using clear parts.

The weapons and helmet design of these red menaces are my jam. I love my Eliminator bonus head, but an eye visor + Snub-nosed carbine + spiked bat is an excellent combo. The colors separation looks off though and I really don't like the shoulder pads looking like face masks. If there was less black and grey and more metallic with white stripes/accents fully committing to the look of an American football uniform maybe I'd grab one to teach my Eliminator how to play hard.

I just got Lunagaron and my god I'm in love with this one. Far more poses can be achieved compared to Malzeno and his articulation is a 10/10, the only downside for me are those damn tiny feet.
The paint application is amazing as with the other hunter.

You're looking at it the wrong way imo. In this world there are a bunch of personalized themed looks to different units. Eventually all the straightforward themes are taken, so some would go for more wacky options.
