Ayyy, /plush/ is back! I'm trying to take pics of this entire lot of shrooms, but it's raining today and the natural lighting is SHIT.

Hello /stg/ enjoyers,

I come to you with a problem I am sure many soft toy lovers have found: how to repair a beloved toy? Especially one that is fragile and old. My little guy is a cow (yeah, yeah, bull, whatever) and I've literally had him since the day I was born. At one point I lost him and was distraught, to the point my parents bought multiples of him in case I lost him again, fortunately he was found and safely returned to me. These days though, he is so well loved he has to wear old Beanie Baby clothes to be held together, my Dad saw him versus his "brother" recently and says my little guy looks like a Holocaust victim, lol.

I still love to snuggle him but am very gentle and don't sleep with him lest I tear him or something, I'd love to use him in my wedding if I ever marry. I have found people who repair stuffed animals online, but I don't think even they can fix him. He's threadbare to the point that you can see through him to the stuffing. Anyways, any advice would be appreciated!

When my mum repaired my old teddy she literally sewed a whole new body over the top of his threadbare body, which might be a solution for you.

While that is an option, I don't think I want to cannibalize my cow's brother to save him, maybe if I find another listing on eBay it'll be an option, but I've had his brother as long as him, so I'm hesitant. Thank you for the suggestion though, I keep scouring eBay for a replica, I'm kicking myself because years ago I found him on eBay but it was an old account and now I have no idea what the brand was anymore. Thanks again though, I'll continue my search!

Thanks, anon!

I just made my first actual sale of these guys (as a 'final product' of my store compared to selling one-off pieces here and there in the past) and let me tell ya, /plush/, I am just CHUFFED.
>It's my birthday tomorrow, so now I have extra cash for fun!
and the customer is in the US, which is wild because I didn't expect to get any international reach at all.
