Similarly, I got my Snail Shell Grisa boob plate incoming in a week, and I'm at a loss as to how I can improve her nipples.

Not really fond of the tiny nipples on that one, so my plan was to drill holes like Asdo, then make some sets of chunky eraser nipples with big areolae-mounds. With alternative options with holes for piercings and/or zombie milk.

Here's my problem: I dunno any 3D modelers who can make these parts, and I don't know any 3D printers/customizers in my neck of the woods who can make one but also paint it in her iconic blue fluorescent palette.

I do have the alternative option of making some with Polymer clay but I lack a proper oven to bake a set in. And painting skills. Or a decent fluorescent blue paint because every reviewer says it's practically impossible to make a decent fluorescent blue paint.

…so now I'm stuck in between wondering how should I approach this.

most GitD acrylics will mix with other colors and not affect them tint-wise.

I mean, if you're just going to paint it, there are definitely fluorescent paints out there, but if there aren't any in quite the right color, getting a good paint color and adding Strontium Aluminate powder might work, it gives a glow in the dark effect.

depends on what you're into and what you're after. Snail shell makes pretty solid figures with usually minimal clothing under everything. polynian is possibly the horniest model series without genitals or nipples. you can try looking for figures based on any inherently horny IP, like Nikke or Azur lane if you're into that. You'll probably find more static figures, but there are some articulated ones out there. I've looked at amiami's bishoujou figure listing and just clicked on the action figure subcategory to just see what's new.

If you're just starting, Sozai-chan, Figuarts Body-chan. and Figma Archetype She Next are blank nude bodies (no sculpted vaginas or painted nipples) you can do head-swaps with some figma and figuarts figures (YMMV depending on the neck-joint system the heads use). Swimsuit bodies for the Konosuba girl trio is another option for sexy but not nude, as well as the swimsuit version of Figma Emily and the bikini armor of Figma Makoto. I used x2 different types.
I tried spraying a sealant on the hexagon piece which is when it bubbled. I stopped immediately. Then tried sanding it and the top layer down a little.
Even after sanding a fine layer down it's still leaving black Marks.
I then tried something similar to this >>11492707 on the spare magazine clip. I used a very thin layer yet this had a reaction with the plastic and it gunked up as if I had coated it in pva glue.

I THINK sushiworks has cheaped out on customers because I did an experiment on some recycled plastic I had and that had the same results.
I think the sprue and pieces for the guns are made of recycled trash which would explain why the plastic is of such poor quality

NTA, I only like (and ordered) the pale with red/black and really dislike the original purple one. I'm not super into tan waifus so it's saved me the trouble of tracking down a figure I don't like just to take the body off of it.

Not now because I went 'fuck it' and I've put the parts in a paint thinner bath. I'll strip the top coat off, see how it is underneath and decide if I'll repaint or not. I should have results in a few hours or post tomorrow what happened.

Just dont try using a sealant to fix it or put any of the parts in warm soap water or else you'll be stuck in the same situation.

Hands and feet I reuse generally with only articulation and scaling being the changes needed. That's most soft goods especially when you put a heavy black, blue, or red dye on an organic fabric, it needs to be washed quite a bit before the dye stops running out of it and onto other things. Hasuki's softgoods are fine after the water runs clear. I think they're just not washing them as much lately or at all before they sew with the fabric.

OG release date was Q1 February, then it might have been delayed to march/april I dont remember that one, then it was delayed until Q2 June because "we advertised her with feet and chinese weibo users yelled at us now we have to make and add feet to every box", then the delay to early to mid-July, and for the most recent one they were thinking about delaying into late August/early September. But probably because they got yelled at again and weibo followers are demanding refunds or more free shit as compensation, they decided to get their shit together and stick to July 31.

Thanks anon! I must confess I cheated a tiny bit, I used a "3D doll" program to make the basic low-res mesh which I refined the sculpt of and then cut up. I figured it wasn't completely cheating, as A: I still have to sculpt the actual details and cut up the mesh to add joints, and B: professional sculptors use base models (or armatures if they're doing traditional work) and this programme is actually meant for just that.
Obviously I still managed to fuck up the proportions so it'll be back to the drawing board but at the very least I can adjust the base mesh, re-import it and then reuse the booleans I already made, so it shouldn't take too long, I hope?

Ideally you learn to sculpt the base yourself just so you can understand anatomy and sculpting better, but nah nothing wrong with working off of a base you set up in a program. I'd still recommend keeping some kind of character reference in your background so you don't get lost. Probably good to study universal proportions more than anything for now, keep using bases, and work on anatomy stuff as you need things over time. Anatomy for Sculptors is a good book that shows a lot of it in simple 3d forms as well as more traditional anatomy drawings, good for looking things up if sculpting something ever gets confusing.

Basically sushi MUST have known these issues exist because they had photos taken of leoni holding the guns. It takes about 2 seconds to see her hands are covered in black muck after holding a gun.

On their Weibo, people have been submitting picture sets for their unfortunately timed photo contest, and showing them the black gunk and bent high heels. Yeah that's normal. It's likely moving but not updating. I think their FAQ says to give it 2 more weeks and if it still doesn't move or show up then you should contact them.
