A few suggestions

1. Can we please have the sticky explain or put the rule down WHY prostitution sexpat talk is a no no? I don't personally partake but the amount of butthurt anons who when you tell them to GTFO or go read one of the many 10's of threads about SEA then flip out and start spamming threads in retard screeching. It's annoying

2. Can we get like how /g/ has where you can link to /JapanGeneral/ or whatever

3. Can the new STICKY please please tell newfags to check the catalog because there is a 90% chance the thread they are about to make has a thread existing.

4. Maybe not directly in the new STICKY but something like "hey if you don't know how to ask a question here here's a way to formulate an OP for help:

"I am from X country looking to go to Y country around Z month with a budget of $ dollars. I do/do not speak the language and my hobbies/intent of visiting are A/B/C"
This would solve so many threads being filled with samefags or shitposts or falling off only for the OP to make a duplicate thread because we aren't mind readers to know OP's situation based off a shit OP.

Also what's the deadline for submitting additional pointers and so on? I'd love to help but I just decided to take a trip to Japan.

I've been a regular poster for years, and I can clearly tell no one reads the sticky. Nearly everyday I see posts that could be prevented by reading the sticky, but they still continue to exist.

Just get rid of the sticky altogether, and we'll be on our merry way.

Justification: we are going to ignore you and post about it anyways. If you remove the rule, it means you will have to spend less time policing such discussion or arguments surrounding it. If you are covering your ass for some legal reason, then just say so.

1. I only post on /trv/ when I'm at home, not traveling. When I'm actually traveling, I don't want chucklefucks like you souring my mood. If flags were a thing, the country I'm posting from will never match the country I'm talking about.

2. I have a VPN and a Pass, both of those things don't cost very much money, so a lot of other people have them, too. I can claim to be from any country that my VPN supports, and your feeble mind is gonna take my word for it. I'll admit I've stirred the pot a few times in /int/.

Unless there is some kind of legal liability, I think sex tourism discussion should be allowed on /trv/. It is a “legitimate”/valid reason to travel, and even when such discussion was allowed on /trv/ it didn’t pervade every aspect of the board as /pol/sters do, for example:
