>>2785821 (OP)China Airlines (from Taiwan) is probably one of the better J experiences atm for trans-Pacific flights imo. Or maybe cause everything felt new since I never flew with them before.
Cathay's new Aria suites on their 777s look nice on the surface but there's so much shit wrong with them functionality wise, I would actually just prefer to hop on an A350 and their old hard product. They've been in decline since COVID, was better pre-COVID.
ANA's old J hard product was kinda shit, food used to be better pre-COVID. Haven't tried their new suites.
JAL has always been good to me service wise. If the cabin is too hot, you can voice your complaint and they do sometimes adjust it by a bit.
EVA has good service, product is just old and feels unrefined compared to their direct competitors
SQ business is great. SQ first is great.
Qantas is acceptable I guess
British Airways is also acceptable. The issue I get is the service attitude is just dogshit.
Air Canada gave me expired snacks on domestic J and a printed menu on a loose leaf of paper on an international flight to HKG
United - I personally avoid ever flying them again
60% work/40% leisure over the years, now mostly 80% leisure and 20% work for flying. Mix of paying cash and points. You don't get a lot of deals like you used to get pre-COVID for cash and points have been devalued constantly. Doesn't help that everyone has become at travel influencer+spamming referrals so less redemptions in general
