Im in Nha Trang now. There's a lot of russians and almost as many koreans. The city center is really overcrowded with tourists in the evenings. The place has some Disneyland vibes, it doesn't seem genuine at all. Locals seem very tired with foreigners in general and appear grumpy. It's the least friendly place in Vietnam i have been to.
On the plus side, the nature is really pretty, both the beaches and the mountains.

As for specific bikes, I have a Honda Future which I love. Honda Wave is the most common bike in the country and a semi-automatic and there's nothing wrong with them. I bought a Future because I'm a little tall and it sits a little higher than the Wave, also has a comfier seat. The third but by far least important reason is that it's 125cc to the Wave's 110. If you can sit comfortably on a Wave then go for it.

So I just arrived in Hanoi, took two buses from the airport to the old quarter, walked like a bunch of hours, and everything is expensive and scammy as fuck. For $8 I can get a private hotel room in Paid Thailand, and a donut, here I can barely get a dorm in a ten bedroom.
