I'm planning a two week trip with my gf in October. Where should I go? Some places I'm considering are Greece, Japan, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. Any place I should prioritize? Can I do a week in Peru and a week in Brazil or are two weeks ideal for each place?

lol...I thought he said "...but you must use a condom."

>Peru
Cusco and Machu Picchu in one week would be extremely taxing on the body, two weeks would be just enough to hit the tour spots and a few days in the jungles on the other side of the mountains. Thats what I did. Also, Machu Picchu requires tickets in advance, book them ASAP, Ive seen them sold out for months and got lucky, no ticket no entry.

>Can I do a week in Peru and a week in Brazil
as the other anon said
that would be very rushed

7 days lima and 7 days Rio (or similar) would be fine, but you probably don't want to do cities only
and both Peru and Brazil are very large, with long distances between interesting stuff
even if you'd fly everywhere you'd spend half of your 2 weeks in transit (possible with charters, but that's another league)
other than that you'll have more than enough to do for 2 weeks in either country

>Greece, Japan, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil
these are VERY different destinations

I loved Argentina
we did almost the complete Ruta Nacional 40 as road trip in a little over 4 weeks - it was awesome
but you can only do a sections in 2 weeks

Greece lean heavy into either lots of history / archeology or beach vacation (and of course food)
Japan typically is more culture and food focused, but you can do beach / diving or hiking as well
both work well for 2 weeks

Why do you want OP to not have a girlfriend? Are you gay for him? Do you believe if you can't have him, no one can?

I always think it is better to do one place in detail vs run around all over the place. Even in Japan with the rails people seem to run up and down the country, I prefer wandering around an area of a country and really getting into it more, I spent a couple weeks in Tokyo and had a ton of fun. I would just spend your two weeks in either Peru or Brazil depending on what you wanna do, not split between them.

You can tell the difference between someone who's on a bike for exercise and recreation, vs someone who owns a bike instead of a car.

Why wouldn't you squeeze a little workout in while you can? It's actually been proven people who cycle into work often arrive happier versus those who drive in (which makes sense given you're releasing endorphins)

Easy:
Buenos Aires-Iguazu-Florionapolis

A week in Peru is so fucking rushed you can do a week in Brazil if you just pick floripa and explore the island and chill for maybe 5 days, two days in Iguazu, then finish out in Buenos Aires or something

Go to Guatemala. Lots of foreigners in Antigua and the conversiom between USD to guatemalan quetzals are good. Japan is just a filthy weeb-ridden place and on top of that, it is getting full of pajeets and niggers

>Land in Sao Paulo, enjoy all the pizzerias and top tier restaurants. 2 nights, go to
>Curitiba - enjoy all the pubs and the mixed Polish-Ukrainian-Italian-German vibes, go watch an Athletico game in its stadium, 2 nights, go to
>Florianopolis - enjoy the beaches, the restaurants, etc. Amazing place to relax. 5 nights, go to
>Porto Alegre - the biggest southern city, this state has beautiful countryside as well, it's basically Sao Paulo from the south, a nice hub to take a bus to Uruguay, Argentina

Enjoy

isnt Japan too cold in October though?
I have 17 days of vacation this year and still dont know where to go.
But if i happen to go in autumn/winter then i guess Italy/Greece/Spain is always warm and close cause still in europe.
Still 3 weeks would be enough to visit Japan - Tokyo, Osaka, museums, arcade and soapies, assuming plane tickets wont be extra expensive and it wont be too cold after august?

>Greece, Japan, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. Any place I should prioritize?
These are all very different destinations, depends on what you are looking for.

>Greece
Lots of museums, history, great cuisine in Athens, or Greek islands like Santorini for some Mediterranean beach relaxation and larping as a rich eurofag. Very romantic and ideal for a couple.

>Japan
Weeaboo experience in Akihabara, cute anime cafes, karaoke bars, unique culture and great cuisine, but very touristy and crowded, you need to go off the beaten path to experience the real Japan. Less romantic than Greece, feels like it's better for solo travelling and even then only if you know Japanese.

>Argentina
Buenos Aires is good for couples, it's bohemian like a pre-war Paris, with great cuisine (expect to eat lots of beef and wine) and an interesting art scene, otherwise you could head to Patagonia for a more outdoorsy nature experience hiking, climbing, etc. Or to the north to the Iguacu Falls which are shared with Brazil for some nature stuff.

>Peru
Your girlfriend has to be into hiking 100% for this one. Anything worthwhile like the Macchu Picchu ruins or the national parks require hiking. There's some amazing beaches in the north coast (which are very overlooked but just as good as those in the Caribbean!), but it'd be a pity to go to Peru and skip the Inca trail stuff.

>Brazil
Bahia has great beaches (also Caribbean-tier), a very interesting culture and unique cuisine, I would avoid Rio. This is more of a relaxation type trip and requires less hiking than Peru, unless you want to go somewhere like Pantanal which is amazing for nature stuff, or Iguacu Falls.

>Can I do a week in Peru and a week in Brazil or are two weeks ideal for each place?
I think it's best to concentrate on a single country.
