Muslims beheaded Canadian mining company consultants in Mindanao who were helping torture and kill indigenous Lumads.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Ridsdel

>At the time of the kidnapping, he was retired. Prior to that he had been working for the mining company TVI Resource Development Philippines Inc.,[3] a subsidiary of Canada's TVI Pacific, where he was also a consultant.

>Ridsdel was kidnapped by Abu Sayyaf militants in the Philippines on 21 September 2015, in a raid on Holiday Ocean View Samal Resort, on Samal Island in the southern Philippines.[4] After the gunmen disarmed the resort's security guards, they abducted four people from the resort, the Canadians John Ridsdel and Robert Hall, the resort's Norwegian marina manager Kjartan Sekkingstad, and a Filipino woman, Teresita Flor.[5]

>The kidnappers later issued demands for a hefty ransom to be paid for the release of the hostages, reportedly 300 million pesos (around $6.5 million) for each of the three foreigners seized. As the deadline lapsed on 25 April 2016, they apparently beheaded Ridsdel.[6] Ridsdel's head was found in a plastic bag in Jolo.[7] A headless body, possibly Ridsdel's, was later found by villagers by a creek bed near Talipao. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police launched an international murder investigation.[8]

The company he worked for was involved in torturing and killing indigenous Lumad people (Lumads are not Muslim btw)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TVI_Pacific

>In 2015 TVI was mentioned along with several other mining companies as being the likely beneficiary of a series of government-funded murders of the indigenous Lumads who live in the Mindanao region of the Philippines, an area rich in mineral resources to which these companies would like better access.[3]

Although Islamist Abu Sayyaf didn't care about it, these Canadians were also criminals who helped genocide non-Muslim natives while Canadian media reported in them as they were taking an innocent vacation.

Mining companies do that all the time. They'll come to a corrupt lawless shithole and bribe the government by fronting billions to develop their deposits. Then they set up a mine in the middle of nowhere where they're the top authority. They hire the most subhuman local bottom dwellers to run security, kit them out with gear, and face no consequences for anything that happens next. Usually it's people going through waste rocks in a toxic waste pile trying to find some rocks with $0.01 of mineral to sell. There are countless known cases of "security" details brutalizing locals with impunity, including shit like gang rapes and mass murders.

So who cares if some """""mining consultants"""" get beheaded by retarded Islamists. Why were they there in the first place kek

>The TVI Pacific Inc. started its operations in the Philippines in 1998. The company is known as the biggest gold and silver producer and the biggest exporter of copper and zinc concentrate. It seized control over Mt. Canatuan in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte which is considered sacred by the Subanen Lumad group, and Mt. Balabag in Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur. Since the 17th century, the group inhabited the said mountains as part of their ancestral domain.

>The entry of TVI Pacific Inc. in Mt. Canatuan resulted in massive devastation. The company opened its first gold and silver processing plant in the mountain in 2004. In its first four years of operation, it was able to produce more than 105 ounces of gold and 1.8 million ounces of silver dorรฉ amounting to approximately $86 million.

>The mining plant stopped operations in 2014 after depleting minerals in the said mountain. Soldiers of the 44th IB serve as the mining plantโ€™s security forces and are behind the forcible eviction of Subanen Lumads and suppression of their resistance.

>After its plunderous operation in Mt. Canatuan, the TVI Pacific Inc. started its operation in Mt. Balabag in 2008. The company used the issuance of Mineral Production Sharing Agreements to encroach in 4,479 hectares of land in Bayog. There are estimates that the area has 210,000 ounces of gold reserves.

OP if you've ever been to the PH, which I have the suspicion that it's one coomer scared going making these shit threads, it's insanely safe outside minor taxi scam of paying to much and maybe pickpocketing.
If you're not going to a resort or resort town
Step 1) Don't go outside Manila or Cebu
Step 2) if a drunk pino gets in your face just walk away

PH is literally the like "white rich guys first time going to a poor country" amusement park. You actually have to go full retard to get fucked, like actually go to places with signs telling you to stop and turn around, ignore locals telling you to stay away from X place, and so on. Most dangerous places are only accessible by boat and have no tourist attractions meaning you know why you are there. I highly doubt you're planning an epic trip to fucking Zamboanga.

>TVI was a part owner of Kingking project and two representatives of TVI were on its board of directors. In 2002, there were two violent attacks on TVI personnel resulting in 15 people being killed. The second of these attacks happened on December 26, 2002 when, according to TVI, "an unidentified group of armed terrorists ambushed a vehicle carrying TVI employees" travelling between Canatuan and Siocon. Thirteen people were killed and 12 people were wounded.

>TVI employs armed paramilitary guards known as Special Civilian Armed Auxiliaries (SCAA). These guards are trained and armed by the Philippine military, but employed by TVI. The guards man numerous checkpoints between the town of Siocon and the mine in Canatuan. Having recently visited the area, I can attest to the fact that at least the first of these checkpoints is on the public road outside of the mine's concession area. The SCAA guards control the movement of goods and people on and off the site, which is also part of the government-recognized ancestral land of the local Subanon people. Leaders of the indigenous community who oppose the mine have been singled out for victimization. The legitimate and recognized "Timuay" or leader of the Subanon of Canatuan, Timuay Josรฉ Anoy, is no longer allowed to pass the checkpoints to go to his home, nor can others from Canatuan who have expressed opposition to the mine. TVI is clearly not in compliance with its 1997 Environmental Compliance Certificate that requires the company to assure that "public roads shall remain open to allow the free flow of traffic."

There have been several shooting incidents involving company security. The most recent was in March 2004, when picketers opposing the movement of mining equipment were fired upon by company security and military. Four people, including tribal elder Timuay Macario Salacao, were wounded

To me, there's expats living out here for years. I met an American yesterday who's been here 13 years. What's he doing every morning? A disguise and a different route to the mall? Nope. Big cities are fine.

The most popular martial art in the Philippines is known as Arnis. It's a weapons based striking art vaguely similar to JKD. So you're going to want to work on your distance control, disarming techniques, and footwork. Have a friend use a dowel to simulate a club and practice evasive maneuvers while looking for an opening to close the distance. You're definitely going to want to focus on your Krav Maga and BJJ training.
Besides that, be smart. Filipinos tend to be all bark and no bite, so if they insult or disrespect you or even look at you funny, let them have it. If you see someone following you or even vaguely suspect somebody is up to no good, get in his face. Shout him down, shove him, everything. The point is to be aggressive, confrontational, and violent. This will solve 99% of your problems. On the very low chance one has a gun, you can be sure he doesn't know how to use it and can be (relatively) safely disarmed with a quick strike to the hand/ elbow.
You're welcome.

West Papua. Foreigners working at Grasberg gold-copper mine for Freeport McMoran there also get kidnapped and killed by locals. Its the biggest gold mine in the world.

Because those foreigners are helping the Rockefellers and Jews (Carl Icahn, Blackrock and previously Henry Kissinger) who run Freeport McMoran to attack the local West Papuans and steal their gold. Rockefellers and Jews control the mining company there.

Indonesian military serves the Rockefeller and Jews by genocind natives for the gold and copper.

Western companies do the same in Papua New Guinea at Ok Tedi and Porgera Gold Mine and in Bougainville at Panguna gold copper mine.

Companies like BHP Billiton (BHP Group Limited), Rio Tinto and Barrick Gold.

As >>2799947 said, the mining companies hire security to brutlise and rape locals in Papua and Bougainville, while causing environmental disasters with the mine including mass pollution and landslides.

The local natives in Bougainville took up arms and violently drove out the mining company.

Rockefeller connected oil and gas companies like ExxonMobil did the same in Aceh at gas fields, Exxon, Mobil, Chevron hired security guards to rape and torture Acehnese native people.

The Acehnese, Boungainvillers and Papuans all took up arms to fight.

West Papuans are still kidnapping and killing foreigners who help the Indonesian military or work at the gold copper mine.

Mali nationalised gold mines that Barrick Gold ran, after their coup.

Hi I'm a white guy. Wife is Filipino. Been to the Philippines twice and traveled all over the country but never went to the island of Mindanao. Even my wife/her family wanted to avoid that area. Don't go there.

Thanks boss! More interesting stuff to look up on my lazy Sunday.

> mining companies hire security to brutlise and rape locals
Somewhat similar to the (((US military))) hiring private security companies like Constellis (fka Blackwater) to do the dirty work so they have some semblance of separation when things go wrong.

So smart, to go around attacking random people on the street because they looked at you the wrong way.
