What are the pros and cons of living in Australia?
Do Australians sometimes have the feeling of being cut off from the rest of the world? How isolating is it?

I wish, place is full of jeets and chinks. Everywhere is packed. It's impossible to feel isolated.

Australia is a sorry shell of what it was a long time ago. You'll only get the feeling of true australia briefly when you chat to old guys in country pubs. For about 50 years Australia was a white man's paradise, ever since it has been aggressively undermined.
>pros
No joke, I genuinely struggle to think of one
>cons
Full of foreigners
Everything is 10x more expensive than it should be
Labour market is fucked
Nanny state attitude, not just from the government but from the public
Tall poppy syndrome

Australia's problems could be fixed within 12 months if we had our own Hitler, but it isn't gonna happen because the prisoner mindset never left. We won't escape the mental cuck cage of liberalism.

Jesus some of you cunts are soft. Australia is literally easy mode. Try living anywhere else and you'll be back in no time.

Pros
>High earning. Aussie dollar weakening but still one of the highest earning countries on the planet. Gives you leverage to explore the rest of the world easily despite the isolation.
>Safe. One of the safest places on the planet.
Cons
>Boring. Australia seems interesting on the outside, but really it’s sterile
>Over-regulated. The price of safety.
>Expensive. We may earn x10-15 (average or slightly above average salary) of those in SEA (excluding places like Singapore) but it’s impossible to buy a house on one income
>Insular. An ‘adventurous’ Australian goes to Bali. Our average boomer mixes up Hindus and Muslims and couldn’t name more than 5 countries in Europe. Perhaps it’s the same in the US. Same criticism applies.
>Car culture and distance. I don’t hate cars, actually I enjoy driving but I don’t like that it’s a necessity.
>Indians. Same as Canada. We are being sold out. This feeds into house prices. I have four Indian grocery stores near me. They can’t be profitable. I’m sure they exist for the 0.1% of rich Indians to get visas.

Mixed
>Nature and infrastructure. Overall, things work. Our cities are well planned and the roads are good. But everything is so OLD. Just step into one of our airports then extrapolate that to the rest of the country. Public transport is serviceable at best, shocking at worst. Nature is amazing, but in such a big place you can’t just see x y and z in a day, but it is good. Probably should go in pro to be fair.

Cons:
Whiny cunts complaining about everything like a professional pom.
Lower classes are complete trash, upper classes are limp wrist bootlicking poofters
Way too many druggos
People who try too hard to fit into australian stereotypes. The true blue aussie is a dying breed.
Wypipo are a minority in Sydney and Melbourne and those cities are a lot uglier than they were a few decades ago

Pros:
I wouldn't call it the safest place in the world, compared to East Asia is still leaves a lot to be desired, but it's a lot safer than almost any other Western country.
People are mostly decent and friendly if you don't piss them off
Landscape is beautiful and varied and it's cheap to fly between major cities
People like to say wildlife wants to kill you but we don't have any big predators to worry about
