Are we sure this is true? When I went, I wondered around the entire island, and after getting away from the main tourist route (train station to Rialto Bridge to the ducal plaza) it felt like tourists dropped to almost zero. I went around the university area and park on the far end of the island and it felt like both it and all the neighborhoods around it were solely locals

Venice is overrated as fuck now. Boat rides are expensive as fuck and jeets all over the fucking place. Nothing to do that takes more than 1 day.

europeans bitch about everything. brag about 35 hour work weeks, free college, free day care, free healthcare, etc. yet they still go on strike every other week. complain about tourists even though without them their economy would collapse. complain about so may foreigners but refuse to have children themselves and allow their own populations to be replaced by 3rd world muslim hoards. fucking pussies.
