Henlo frens. I wanna ask you guys if you guys would move away if you were me:

>38
>Married
>2 sons (3 and 1 years old)
>Lives in rural LATAM (where I was born and raised)
>Father is Spanish, so I have an EU passport
>Roughly 100k USD in passive income yearly
>House paid off in a good gated community, can rent it for 4k USD monthly if needed

As you can see, it's a very comfy life, but I'm maybe condemning my kids to live in a brown shithole surrounded by the most degenerate people on earth. Culture here is abysmal and being well mannered is unironically considered a homo trait. We also need armored cars because it is violent as fuck and you need to have your streetsmarts on full auto the entire time you leave your house.
Thing is, I feel like the whole west is slowly turning into this with the rampant african and muslim immigration. Last time I was in Europe (UK, France and Spain) was in 2019, so I can't say for sure if I'm assuming things right or I'm just being too much pessimistic. I think USA is pretty great outside the metro areas, but getting in legally will be too much of a hassle and expensive.

Thoughts? Where would you raise your family?

In the USA you can own up ur own arsenal, own a mansion in a gated community with private security in a gated sundown town with a private police force. No blacks, no minorities. Only the poors have to live in mixed communities.

Where in the USA though? My parents live in South Florida, I visit them from time to time. The northernmost floridian place I've been was in a friend's homestead in Davie, it wasn't so bad. I did go to Naples on the other side too, was too much posh for my taste.

False, Europe is way safer than America (despite being "invaded") and much of Latam is safer than Puccia.

That's demonstrably false, the only major LATAM countries that have lower homicide rates than Russia are Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba and Chile (by a very narrow margin):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate#By_country,_region,_or_dependent_territory
That's not "most" by any means. And I've heard very bad things about safety in Argentina nowadays.

i live in latin america and i never heard of blinded cars being common. gated communities sure but you are not driving in a blinded car unless you are the literal president's son or some shit like that.

if u want to move somewhere just fucking do it since you have eu citizenship. weird thread idk, this is the travel board not the immigration board.

This is the best immigration board. Armored cars are pretty common here, not so much where I live (rural), but I go the metro areas weekly and there the armored sure makes a difference.

It's easy to guess, there are three countries where armored cars are a thing, one is full of mexicans and the other two are full of blacks. Needless to say, rural areas are somewhat more normal, at least for now.

then you shouldn't say "in latam" if its a specific issue to your country (im guessing colombia then)
would have avoided all this hoopla

move to america if you prioritize business freedom or to europe if your concern is safety and walkable cities, don't see the issue

Go live somewhere rural in Europe. Or USA.

A comfy life isn't worth much if you have to be on your guard all the time.

Don't know what "you heard" but since Milei took office murder rate went down -16% yoy. Currently we are at 3.8 which is below Thailand and quite below the US. Still not Canada or Europe tier but I can buy a packet of smokes at 2 am without looking over my shoulder. We had a crime wave right after the pandemic but it seems to be over.

What I'm surprised about is Uruguay, I don't understand how it spiked so much there. I've always considered it a very safe country.

A single "killed his entire family before an heroing" event killing 5-6 people will blow up the statistics for years in a 1.2m country.
A single event made Norway africa tier for years when swimming coach Breivik offered free lessons.

Western Europe has a big problem with robberies and theft. Less so with homicides. America is kinda the opposite, with homicides being high but robberies and theft being less common. The street environment is affected by politics. Criminal gangs often operate with impunity for some time as voters begin clamoring for law and order. Then bam, a major crackdown arrests dozens of perps, and overnight the streets are safe again, as the mass arrest discourages other potential criminals.

Well the total count of murders in Uruguay in 2022 is 383, so a single event won't change anything in particular.
