Hey guys, I'm visiting Seattle, WA from Friday through Sunday with a group of friends from high school. We are staying at an AirBNB in the Capital Hill neighborhood. What are some must see must do things? We're a group of guys in our mid 20s. We're down for anything worth doing!

Avoid the original Starbucks, it’s stupid. Pike Place is worth a visit. Catch a Mariners game if they’re in town. Cap Hill is usually full of college kids but I think they’re on summer break still. It’s easy to bar/brewery hop in Seattle. Summers are S-tier in Seattle.

What's the deal with people recommending to see their local sports team play? Even if I gave a shit about a team that isn't my own, it seems like an incredible waste of time to do something in a foreign destination, that you could do at your own city.

Every stadium is different. Different views, different food and beer. A sports game is a little slice of the local culture. Mariners have one of the best ballparks in America and it’s walking distance from downtown

Unless you're into the outdoors, there's not a whole lot to do in the area. There's the touristy shit like Pike Place and the Space Needle, but if you've actually lived in a metropolitan city, you'll be disappointed with the offerings of Seattle. The food scene is shit and night life is nonexistent as most places close before midnight.

So I guess you're gone by now, but in case anyone gives a shit, as long as you have a car, Snoqualmie Falls is worth a look, and a day trip or overnighter to the San Juan Islands is usually fun. You get a couple of ferry rides, and you can go see the Pig War forts where we defeated the British with only a single shot fired. And in case anyone is some sort of obsessive parliamentarian sperg about Robert's Rules Of Order, that's where the guy wrote them out while sitting around waiting for the war to be over.

Try the outdoor walking tours! They go underground as well and show you the speakeasys.

Seattle NATIVE here. Here's what I recommend:

-Alki Beach (on a weeknight)
-Underground tour in Pioneer Square
-Rent kayaks on Lake Union and check out the houseboats
-Seaplane tour with Kenmore air
-Observation deck in the Colombia tower (better than the Space needle)
-Rent bikes and explore the city, don't miss the Burke Gilman Trail and Lake Washington Boulevard
-Discovery Park, Seward Park, Gasworks park, Ballard Locks
-Momoji on Capitol Hill for sushi
-Fainting Goat for gelato

Really easy to find meth in Seattle. Largest good meth city in the US. You gay? There are several locations to have anonymous gay sex. Not a huge thing now, but they were one of the first places to legalize weed, there are good weed stores.

The bar and club scene is shit. When I go out I like to drink at least 20 drinks, Seattle fags cut you off after 5.

There's a snazzy mall in downtown Bellevue but sales tax in WA is crazy. There are lots of fantastic restaurants, you pretty much can't go wrong going out to eat in Seattle. Ride the Ducks looked fun. Get yourself some weed and Ride the Ducks. Unironically, try the Space Needle. There's a museum in the same park as the Space Needle.

I've been into the self improvement meme for years and part of the Seattle move was more professional development since it was a major tech city and no state income tax for further financial development. Instead it was a massive blunder because the people you have to work with in Seattle are miserable cunts who will manage you out for not being like them and the income tax doesn't matter since most jobs pay more in California anyway. I didn't get the COVID shot and when that was sniffed out I had huge backlash against me as well.
It really solidified to me the need for the "diversity" shit because I consistently end up miserable when I'm stuck with white Americans and their passive aggressive, antagonizing, flabby dad bod, retard shit. PNW, mid west, mormons, Wisconsin... God damn these people are so often fucking insufferable.

Whole PNW is the same. I'm in Vancouver BC and it's the same. No one talks to each other except to their family members and one preschool friend if they even have one. Has anyone done the Olympic National Forest? I lived in Seattle for a summer but never had the time to go out there and explore it. I haven't done any backpacking or mountain climbing so treking up to Mt. Olympus doesn't sound appealing.
