These are all scams made purposedly to get money out of the tourists' pockets. Same shit is happening in Kraków. The police doesn't do anything because the orders of these venues are covered. The only thing you can do is to ignore this shit.

My friend got his drink spiked and credit card cloned at one of those places on a stag do. He also became super paranoid of going out in public afterwards, even back in his home country. Fucked his head up.

It's an open secret that these places are mafia run and exist only to lure in foreigners, drug them and wipe their credit cards clean.
They're a fucked up relic of the 90s in the sense that they're an obvious known organized criminal enterprise that is somehow permitted to exist, probably because of serious backing in the higher echelons of politics.
Every decade or so the terrible public secret "comes out", the media runs it on the news and there's wide-scale police action and an ensuing purge (i.e. they change the name on the neon sign above the doorway and continue as usual).
DO NOT EVER enter a strip club in Poland. If you must, get an honest to God whore instead, it's genuinely safer.

interesting. In Krakow i remember years ago there were those girls trying to lure me into a stripclubs, being so nice, but for recent years i very very rarely anyone asks me out. Maybe i dont look like tourist anymore. Just some ukrop recently telling me about cheap beer - but leering with a beer instead of whores? Something changed imo. Obviously, guys on a bar crawl are gonna drink whatever's put in front of them at a titty bar. You pay for time in the bar. What you do is up to you. You can gawk with a boner for five minutes before getting nervous about the bouncer and heading for the cash counter to leave. You're gonna pay the same as the guy who's had sex.
