Malaysia's climate is surprisingly comfortable once you adapt to the equatorial humidity (and lose your fear of sweating). Only a handful of days are sun-blasted 35-36 C scorchers, where heat exhaustion is a risk. I lived a pretty active life there, climbing hills on a daily basis. So many Malaysian towns have a bukit (hill) park nearby.
