Nepalese can actually be divided into 2 groups: Indo-Aryans and Sino-Tibetans. The former are indeed jeet-adjacent in appearance, genetics, and culture, but the latter are closer to the Chinese and especially the Tibetans. I am from Canada so Japan is paradise in comparison. You will occasionally find an Indian restaurant or a jeet here and there but the vast majority of foreigners are White or East Asian

Daily reminder jeets are rapidly replacing the Chinese, Vietnamese, Pinoys and South koreans in Japan by a large margin.

Even if you argue that Japanese curry is derived from a British take on curry, jeet is still jeet. You can double-filter all you want, it only slightly reduces the jeetness. You will never have zero jeet.
Also, don't think for even a minute that Japanese curry is any less sloppy than Indian curry. You should actually read the ingredients list on a package of Japanese curry sometime.
Instead of making excuses, it would be far easier to just not concede to curry.

Japanese curry comes from a standard Indian curry powder base. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Curry is one of the great contributions of India to the rest of the world. The British curry, while also Indian in origin, is different though. Tikka masala does not use that same base.
