Unironically if you're not poor, it's really hard to be the US Northeast since you can basically get any kind of food in whatever style you like to 1:1 abroad if not better in some respects.

What puts Malaga above Cordoba or Seville?

No Chinese cities.... Xian or Chongqing should be up there.

>Tel Aviv
>No Istanbul....
>2 Canadian cities...
>Nothing outisde the 1st world

I'm sure even London would put all those western cities to bed, too.

As much as I hate Philadelphia, they do have some of the best subs and pizza you will ever eat in your life. Once you've had good east coast pizza, you're ruined for other pizza.

i know someone just put tel aviv up there so people would bitch about jews but when i worked in israel i had some of the best food i have ever eaten. even just the hummus was fucking spectacular. it made up a bit for most of the rest of the place being a shithole
i love that mediterranean style stuff. beirut was pretty cool too.

Israel is like what if Middle East was just allowed to be chill and culturally grow somewhere. It has strong influences from Mediterranean, Palestine, Türkiye and especially Lebanon.

If price of food doesn’t matter then some big American city like LA or NY will have the best Chinese, French, etc food. Such list of expensive cities would be very boring though.
Then if price/authenticity is taken into consideration every city from this list should be gone. People from Seoul fly to villages in Vietnam to eat. Hai Phong has better seafood than San Sebastian for 1/10 the price sold on every road every 50 meters. Also if you go to San Sebastian in 21st century it has the same culture as LA or Berlin or any other western city. So if you come from a western city you’ll not see anything new. Hai Phong is very different from Berlin, Seul, Guangdong, even from Hanoi.
