What's it really like living in Orlando?
I'm gonna go there to study. Jobs, weather at winter, the people, biking everywhere, prices and living expenses, the people.

Went last December with family and family friends to Disney World (they're "that" family) and aside from the Disneyslop there's really not much. Picrel

>Jobs
should be able to find a wagie gig. probably wont pay great though
>weather at winter
absolutely fucking immaculate, especially the first year living there
>the people
laid back and chill but not really driven, prone to deep thought, or going anywhere in life. many dont look forward to much beyond hitting the bar on the weekend
>biking everywhere
like a bicycle? goodluck!
>prices and living expenses
not terrible compared to other cities

Bicycles are a no go really? Is renting a room a batch?

eh, compared to other cities ive lived in, Orlando is by far the least bike friendly. highway/interstate/car are king. whats worse is theres tons of anti-bike people there, who will fuck with you as theyre driving by in truck/car/motorcycle

naw, should be fairly easy to find a room somewhere

jobs -
--If you have a profession or skills you will do well

weather at winter
--heaven on earth, there is nowhere else on the planet you could want to be

the people
-- mostly chill, lots of latins but mostly they are ok. otherwise mostly good folk, some bad stay in the nice area and everything you will be fine

biking everywhere
-- I do it most days. not the best for safety but possible.
prices and living expenses
-- less than many places around the country, If you stay away from the tourist areas and services its very live-able.

Overall it the best place i have lived, NYC, LongIsland, Durhan NC, Atlanta(ITP), Miami, LA, London, Madrid. It the easiest day to day life I have ever had. Everything is clean, fairly new and well maintained. Love it all (except for the summer)
