FLEAS
After ten years of travelling, I've caught fleas for the first time.
Thank fuck I'm only going home tomorrow though, so I can quarantine my shit before I actually enter my house. This is my plan, am I missing anything?

1. Get to my porch, strip naked
2. Run inside, take a shower and go ham on my hair/beard
3. Get trash bags, bag everything before bringing it in my house
4. Wash at 60°C everything that can be washed at those temperatures
5. Leave everything that can't be washed at those temperatures (backpack, shoes, down jackets) in my freezer for two weeks
6. ???
7. ¿¿¿PROFIT???

Genuinely though, am I missing anything? The last thing I want is these fuckers in my house.

We were at the art history museum on the same day. You caught fleas in Vienna?

Also where did you catch them. Your hotel? If so which hotel? I'm kinda hotel hopping right now so I can experience a bunch of em (so far the 25hours has been my favorite, not the best room and amenities but very good location with a nice hotel bar, at a very good price)

Serves you right, you stinking zoophile. Lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas.

I moved into an apartment years ago that had them. Exterminator made short work of them, they're not too difficult to get rid of.

You got mites, mites are generally what people catch and think they are fleas/bedbugs.

Flea's basically fuck off unless they have an ultra-hairy source such as a dog or wild animal. You don't have the body hair to maintain them for long.

I don't know, some people are pretty hairy.

The amount of hair you need for fleas is literally bear mode with being heavily unwashed in a warm climate for them to stick around.

Anon, Fleas need dog fur levels of warmth, moisture, and lack of consistent showers to live.
