I was the only white guy on this shit flight from a European country to China, with transfer to another country. The Chinese are the worst people Ive ever encountered. So fucking loud and with no manners at all. Plus at Beijing airport, security takes 2 hours and you get frisked by some fat Chinese man thinking he has some important role. Even though it was half the price this shit ain't worth it, however the stewardesses were babes.

White people complaining about high IQ races because jews see them as a threat. So kosher of you.

You have to go through security for your transfer? Fucking China. Did you see any itineraries that allowed you to get a transit visa? I've seen very cheap flights from Kuala Lumpur to Los Angeles on Xiamen Airlines, $350 for a one-way with a single layover in Xiamen.

To the contrary, Chinese see Westerners in their country as a national security threat. I've heard that China mandates all hotels to accept foreigners and fill out the paperwork, so the old days of "no foreigner" are history. In India that shit still happens, or they demand a 100 rupee fee to register you with the police.

I have found the same thing with airlines and cruises, both, which is, try to be on the carriers or airlines from your own countries. You really do want your crew to be American, British, Aussie, Canadian if you're an english speaker. If you're going to Italy, Alitalia is fine, but Delta or British Airways would be better :P

Glad you are safe, lol. I'm sorry but who is flying those planes, and did they get the job from nepotism and learned on a flight simulator, or are they from a country with an active air force? If you don't know, I wouldn't fly them. Only fly with airlines other pilots trust.

i went on air china earlier this year from the uk to malaysia via beijing
the whole experience was a bit painful. right from booking on their shitty website which was last updated in about 2001
the seat was ok (i was in business class) but the food was surprisingly shitty and the crew basically hid the alcohol. i fucking hate it when they do that
my connecting flight from beijing to kl was delayed because of an issue with the plane (a fucking boeing 737 deathliner. fucks sake) and they had to get another plane. there was no information given out except for one tiny squeaky woman surrounded by 200 yelling chinks
the only good thing i can say about it is that the business lounge at beijing was ok and the food was quite good although since it was china i was probably eating asbestos and plastic or something
the weirdest thing is when they are doing the safety demos etc before takeoff they have an extra announcement where they tell you they are recording audio in the cabin for security purposes. basically you can't even have a private conversation on board
still, it was cheap(ish) and quick(ish) since they fly over russia rather than going around like most airlines do to avoid getting mh17-ed
but i don't think i'll do it again

was it PEK? I went through there too and yeah, massive but empty airport with almost everything closed. I think it's being phased out for the newer PKX, it was kinda cool seeing so few people in such a large space (I didn't get followed by security, not that I noticed at least) but the upkeep cost must be huge for such low traffic

if your goal is to travel the cheap way you should just see the plane as a way to get from a to b alive
if i get to my destination alive for cheap and without travelling for 24h, it has done it's job
truth is unless you have a horrible experience which is rare, you'll forget about your plane ride an hour after landing and you'll have more money in your wallet
doubt the plane is gonna get better in terms of price/experience in the future for us poor anon
