What's your map look like?
Also, which state that I haven't visited do I need to see next if I'm looking for natural beauty?
I was particularly impressed by Washington, Arizona, and West Virginia.

Wish there was a map that divided the states into smaller regions. People forget how big these states are. You can go to Philly or Chicago and it doesn't do those states justice (nor does the opposite).

But to answer your question, idk I'd recommend Utah if you like the deserts and Arkansas if you like the greenery

Missouri is better than Arkansas. Weed is legal there, and you can cruise the hilly Ozark back roads with nobody behind you and nobody in front of you, going 35 or whatever the speed limit is on the curvier roads.

Those heartland towns can be very devoid of life, however.

You like natural beauty but have never been to Utah? Bryce Canyon, Arches NP, Canyonlands, Goblin State Park, Salt Flats, Zion NP. Utah is top 3 states in the country for natural beauty. Maine is excellent too especially Acadia NP.

Alaska is really beautiful!
There are like 3 ways to visit, and I suggest you need more than 1 trip. There is a Summertime road trip kind of visit where you fly in to say Anchorage, and rent a car and drive south through girdwood and down to Seward, cruise out to see the 7 glaciers, then, out through Homer spit, out to see places on Kachemak bay, like Seldovia, then and up to Denali for the national park bus tour, stopping through funky Talkeetna
There is a trip that is all Maritime Highway, where you need a cruise :P
Then, there is a whole part of alaska you can only see by seaplane hopping around.

I wish I checked out northern Minnesota. Only been to Red Wing and a couple other towns in the south.

No more car, so no more exploring America unless I want to do it the hard way as a foot vagabond.

All these years of traveling America condense down into a relatively small number of stories. Often weeks went by without a single notable human interaction. Living in squalor in a minivan, sleeping at Walmarts, idling away the long empty days. In theory, I had limitless potential. I could go anywhere, talk to anyone, do anything. But in reality, I encountered emptiness. Empty landscapes, empty towns, empty people. I couldn't reach out and connect with anyone, and neither could anyone reach out and connect with me. Some of the most scenic parts of this trip were the most lonely and unhappy. But with time, I came to embrace the inescapable solitude and necessary self-reliance, and made it part of my ethos.

Not spending time filling a map in, but I've been to almost all states, and many rural highways in many states. Natural beauty wise, you're going to want to visit Colorado and Utah, and go on rural mountain roads that crisscross all over. No joke, the best parts of the country are off interstate. Past that, trust me when I say Hawaii is indeed worth it, if a risk of being a meme.

While you’re up there you can also go into Canada and drive to the Arctic like I did. Alaska is slightly prettier though.

When I went to the Fargo, ND visitor center they had a “best for last” certificate given to people who went there just to check off their 50th state. Looking at your map I can see why. It was only my 46th.

Hawaii isn’t quite as impressive as California or Alaska in natural beauty, but it makes up for it with just how close and diverse that beauty is. You can swim under a waterfall, lie on a black sand beach and watch a sunset from above the clouds in a six hour period of time.

This is how I feel in general. Not the living in squalor, sleeping at Walmart part, but the emptiness. People don't feel real, like they're NPCs or extras in a movie. They'll never interact with me. None of this feels real, but I don't know how to have a real life.

Cool map, you've seen a lot, but think you are missing two of the most beautiful.
They've become unlivable for most with the high cost, but you really do need to visit Colorado and Utah for it's natural beauty and mountains. I actually like Colorado a little more, but it's close. The Garden of the Gods right outside Colorado Springs is breathtaking.
Speaking of cities, avoid Denver which is a dump, Boulder is cool though. I might disagree with the politics but like the semi-hippy vibe, still that place is expensive as fuck!
Salt Lake City is a little nicer than Denver, and also worth a quick visit, but the important things to see in Colorado and Utah are outside of the cities, obviously.

As a former Marylander you have zero reason to ever visit the state. If you care for natural beauty I'd visit the mountain west states i.e Colorado,Utah, Idaho and Montana.

I live in the US and my map would only be like 4 states. honestly there's sooo many better places to travel. i guess if you highly prioritize nature then the US makes sense though
