Just turned 18 not too long ago and have $4000 saved up. I want to move the fuck out of the US. I'm willing to learn a different language obviously and conform to a different culture. I just can't deal with this shithole of a country any longer. There's not a god damn thing for me here. What would /trv/ recommend an anon like me to go?

Honestly the only things I'd want to personally avoid is religious problems and high levels of crime. Being on 4chan of course I'm someone who leans a bit more towards interests out of Japan. But I'm not too picky about being in Japan specifically.

First get a job in a foreign country and then move to the place where the job is.

LOSER ALERT! Get it together pal. Go to uni. If you can't afford that go to community college than transfer. Eastern Europe. Most Japanese and asians are tired of loser english teachers

How can I apply for jobs in another country without living there first? I'm very interested in getting started. Would I have to first have a work visa? I'm pretty sure I've heard that term thrown around over the years.

>LOSER ALERT!
Sure, I'm no chad.

Is that possible?

The only correct way to do it is become so skilled IT/programming/AI that you can get contract/salaried remote positions.

Otherwise, you’re gonna either live like a poor faggot and get mogged my tourists with girthy wallets, or you’re gonna have to do the “fucking loser shuffle” where you grab your pecker, tuck it between your legs, and waddle out of the airport back “home” to work up more money to come back.

Everybody I know that went to in person career fairs got a job. If you are worried about such things just apply to jobs in defense, where internationals are not allowed. If you are applying on linkedin you are going to be beat out if you didn't go to top schools with awards and clout.

What do you mean by that? Also I don't use social media. Is having a LinkedIn that important?

Where you would need to be a US citizen because you are working with companies that work with the US. Typically in Defense. I said you should be applying or going to in person job events if you think indians are stealing your jobs. There is far more indians and others in the world than there is americans graduating.

You don't have any good options for leaving permanently, but there's decent ways to leave for a few years. It looks like you could qualify for the Australian Work Holiday Visa, and probably New Zealand too. I'm not sure what the current job market is like since it's not discussed here much anymore, but you might be able to teach English in some of the shittier South East Asian countries (Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia) if you do a short course and get a certificate. There's also countries with no-hassle 1 year or very relaxed visa rules (Albania, Georgia, Argentina) but not sure what you'd do for money.

That sounds more towards military work. Which I'd 100% want to avoid.

Thanks for the post, I'll definitely read up on those options.

But do they even allow remote? And I know some of them have overseas positions, but isn't it usually in kinda shitty places at military bases?

Sorry, I'm not the smartest anon on the board. That's for sure. I am trying to learn and get better though. I want to do something with myself instead of being stuck in dying country collasping upon itself where it's looking like I'll never even be able to move out on my own. I also have trouble trying to drive. So other countries not being as reliant on driving or as strict with driving rules would be easier on me.

Wouldn't there be issues with the Russia-Ukraine conflict and tensions towards an American trying to live anywhere near it? I mean I'd wipe my shitty asshole with a flag if that would please them. I have no loyalty to this bullshit place. I want the fuck out.

4000 is nothing. it's a lot for your age but 4000 dollars at 21 is like having 2000$ and at 25 it's like having 200$

you have three options to live overseas

-you either get a good career in the US, and after 10+ years your company might send you overseas or you might get recruted by other companies. thats the safest option and what most expats do

-you find a way to work fully remote, while being allowed to live abroad, which is almost not gonna happen unless you are your own boss and you "create" your own job if you will

-you take your 4000$ to bali and where other "digital nomad" fuck off, you live there for a few months then you have to go back home because you don't have any money left

Look the truth is no company is gonna hire you to fully work remote and enjoy your life somewhere else at your age. why would any company do that. honestly you should stick in the US and work it out for some years, live with your parents and earn money and experience

Nowhere, 4000 is not enough and reading through the thread you are CLEARLY not the kind of guy who can take a one-way flight to Cameroon with two grands in his pocket and become the king of the savannah through sheer grit, sleaze and weird ideas.

It's a doomerism meme being pushed by people who went through college graduating with a 2.5GPA and now mad they aren't making 135k out the gate

18 no exp other than a huge chip on your shoulder because American politics annoy you is laughable, the USA still has the best job market even in economic downturns, with some of the lowest tax rates around and easiest flexibility to move up or down. If you don't already speak a foreign language on a conversational level and have skills why are you more important than Raj who speaks hindi, english, and has been learning the local language while also willing to work for pennies?

You've been in college for a few years and didn't get an internship even just watching the computer labs?

So many fucking pussies from the USA shitting up this board with duplicate threads, don’t like the current administration? Wait 3 years and it will all be over instead of running from your fucking problems, you are too young and 4000 is not enough money. Take the advice from the anons in this thread. Are you a Troon? Getting a trade is the best advice in here as construction is in a shortage of workers worldwide and you would have no qualms finding a job. You could get working visas but because you are unskilled you will just have to leave after the 2 years so what’s the point. Do something with your life then reconsider it.

Dude I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, Honors courses in business focus (think Business Administration but before you get to college), speak Spanish and French since those are the biggest languages, and even. The job market is fucking bullshit, the one place I got call backs from was subway for a bullshit amount of 18.50/hr that's 50c over the minimum here because "no previous job experience" and I hung the phone up. How was I suppose to have experience when I was in FUCKING high school Karen? HUH? I'm not going to be those fucking weird kids who worked after school and never knew fun.

Now I get told my honors courses don't mean shit outside the 100 level classes for college. I just got back from a few months in Asia and now I'm stuck looking at college starting in December and everything is fucking bullshit. I'm not going to go to 4 years of school for some cuck job making 25/hr while Europe is going to 4 day work weeks and free healthcare+month off starting with decent cost of living compared to Colorado.

That doesn't mean shit today. Nobody gets below 90 percent because teachers don't want to hurt your feelings. Employers have their own tests because the grades from school can't be trusted.

As an employer, I wouldn't want to hire an entitled little shit anyway. The real world doesn't care what your GPA was, there are much more important things like social skills and being teachable. If you come in acting like you deserve better than minimum wage because of some piece of paper, you will never get hired.

That's how a career works. You start off at entry-level pay, living in a private room with shared kitchen/bathroom. Use your experience & references from your existing job to leapfrog to a better position at a different company. Along the way, you buy nice things, get credit cards, sign leases, and make other choices that leave you stuck working. Other guys get promoted faster than you, buy nicer things than you, get laid easier than you. You become resentful and grow to hate society, posting about how the West has fallen and America is ruined. Blah blah blah.
>those weird kids who worked after school and never knew fun
Oh, you mean every single kid who didn't have a sugar daddy giving them a free car and boatloads of free spending money? Come on now, you're young. You should have more than enough energy to study, work part-time to pay the bills, AND live it up every weekend with the people in your life.
