Long story short, 24 years old and like many burgers, I can't fucking stand living in this shithole any longer. I can already hear the "lol USA is actually amazing" comments, but I'll do a brief explanation. Country is wonderful for nature. I have been to nearly all US states, and I do enjoy some smaller cities. NOLA, Savannah, small town midwest, and mountain west towns are great. This being said, US has zero high culture. Our Capitol is a fucking sad mockery of what any medium sized Euro city has to offer. I like the US, but living in it wagefagging is not for me. If you're rich or uninspired, great. Live in suburban sprawl and die at 70 having done nothing. As for me, I want out.
At this point, I'm going to go perma travel mode for the time being. I'm in school online and want to eventually become a Professor, but that's at least 6 years away. I can make at least 1K a month anywhere in the world, which is enough just about anywhere (except the US, another reason I hate this shithole). Anyone have any tips on this? I'm leaving in a month and a half. Starting in London, and going to slowly move across Europe and into Central Asia. Anyone here do super low budget long term? How do you deal with health emergencies? Any hidden gem medium sized cities in Asia that are overlooked?

Most countries are small enough where they basically only have 1 large city that hogs all the commerce, but USA is large enough where you actually have multiple worthy cities across the whole country to start a life and do business. I don't have health insurance but I have the money to pay for emergency care. I just think travel insurance companies always refuse to pay anyway. No tips on this one. You will get emergency care regardless of insurance but the care is mind-blowingly bad at times. Looks like you're just gonna have to eat that risk.

Why don't you wanderlust for a little while and then work in esl? It will take you on an adventure and you can get out of it what you put in. Take languages lessons, cooking lessons, cultural dance or sports activities. Once you are a qualified professor you can work at universities and earn a lot more, or you could even work for the elites as a tutor and make a lot that way. So you know in London, there are many people that would pay you to teach their kids especially if you went to a good school, have a lot of experience, or have a speciality or high achievement. But do the wanderlust first, when you are young is the best time to go

Aldi has bottles of wine for $2, and pasta with sauce and meat for $6. Most churches are free, museums, and bars are cheaper than hell in most places. I can walk the streets, and public transit is inexpensive. I can now also take a $20 flight anywhere in the continent and to Africa/Asia. All in all, I'm spending $25 per day living quite well. Want a break from hostels? I'll go grab one of many nice picturesque Airbnbs scattered around, and maybe share it with a buddy I meet while travelling to keep costs down. The two don't even compare in quality of life. Hands down, I'd prefer the cheaper travelling option where I still get my PhD than the bullshit rent and work like a slave option where I slave away like every other person in this God forsaken Jewish ass country.

I get to keep up with my friends at home and abroad with tons of stories to share.

It's just about whatever floats your boat and some people want a place to call home. Personally, I'd rather have a place to fall back on if the economy takes a 2008 in 2028 and accept a few faults here and there. No place is perfect unless you simply view it from an outsiders perspective where they can be selective on what they acknowledge.
