What's the point of wanting to live 40+ years as an oldfag instead of a more reasonable 20 years? The world is increasingly full of old people who are no longer useful, yet they hog vast quantities of resources for themselves over multiple decades of senility, forcing younger working people to shoulder the burden of their demands on society.

In the past, old people were valuable because they were scarce. Only the wisest and toughest survived to old age. These days, getting old no longer requires wisdom. There are so many stupid fucking boomers out there who have lived in a bubble of protected privilege their entire life. Their demands on the medical system make medical care unaffordable for the rest of us. Their housing demands make housing unaffordable for the rest of us. Hell, their demand for stupid pickup trucks (which they drive around empty 99% of the time) is making it much more difficult for young working men to afford their own work truck.
