The acting.

It's shot horribly, the story is boring, the writing is horrible. It's got a million things wrong with it. But they recruited every single actor in Hollywood for a cameo in this shit show. And none of them come off as a real person.

The disjointed editing. I get they were going back between two different points in time but by the middle of the movie it gets hard to tell what happened after the other

The script. Not even the great Cilian could make this cheap fucking schlock good. First the Jew worship is over the top. Every 5 seconds you need to stop the plot and hear about the glories of communist Jews. But that's not bad enough. Then they FUCK you right in the ass with the cheap ass bomb that was built up to the entire time. Looked like a cheap fucking oil drum lighting up. It was shit. And then the ending. My god I walked out. When he did that whole "LE BOMB LE KILLED LE PEOPLE?" it gave me second hand embarassment. I've never seen a more hyped and bigger piece of pure propagandic shit in my fucking life. And the sex scenes were also cringe. Just no chemistry and awkward and just thrown in because "i guess thats what movies have so we should". It's no wonder they needed that parasitical tie to Barbie to even get people in theaters.

The pointless sex scene. (The interesting thing about Oppenheimer is not his love life)

The absence of any depiction of the outcome of dropping nuclear bombs. (ie The point of the story)

Matt Damon's overacting (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD)

The underwhelming explosion (why not just use actual footage?)

this is one of the only things I appreciated about the film: it's unique approach to only portraying one man's life experience.

Same as all nolan movies - the editing. Which includes CONSTANT music. It's like you're watching a trailer for the movie instead of the actual movie.

The bomb happens 2 hours into the movie and then there’s another god damn hour afterwards which absolutely no one cares about because they all came to see the bomb and the quote

And by the 2 hour mark the movie is already fucking boring and over an hour too long, the bomb scene delivers what you think is a satisfying and for a one time view only, worth it ending but then there’s A FUCKING HOUR OF TRIAL STUFF AND MUH HECKIN DEPRESSIONS IM A COMMIE ADULTERER

the acting was one of its greatest strengths even if they aren't "real" people. Oppenheimer, RDJ, Safdie bro, Damon, Casey Affleck, and Jason Clark were all excellent. Also cinematography in general was good

That's to blame on the stupid fucking script. One can't deliver such a shit line without cringe theatrics being included.
I wouldn't even say the script is bad as a whole, it's mostly alright, but it has some severe stinkers peppered in and they take me out the movie like with a similar effect as when hearing the wilhelm scream.
