And while it's obviously not as influential as the main social media sites, it's still influential enough to be targeted. This site also has influence beyond its numbers, because of its ability to create and spread memes (even if that's diminished greatly, ironically because of the shills killing the site's culture), and the target demographic for a lot of shills, non-western countries and political activists are the types of people who post here.
Beyond that, the huge influx of thirdies has had an enormous impact on 4chan, as has the sheer idiocy and clickbait mindset of zoomers.
